How does this differ to the CN212?
[/quote]
It has more low end extension and is flatter through the upper mids compared to the cn212

I played through a Berg at Bass Gear and it was great. Don't know which model it was though. Could the difference be summed up in terms of colour or tone?

The ae212 is smoother sounding, it sounds more hifi. It is a really nice cab!

As i believe bassgear have the HD and CN cabs in stock, if the cab was lightweight you must of Played the CN , I havnt played one of these as the AE killed my gas
I won't be gighing for a while due to relocation and work so the cab is not being used which is a shame.

I have a CN212 and would love to put the AE212 up next to it to compare as it sounds like the AE would possibly edge it for me - maybe!

If you are ever in the East Midlands then you would be welcome to give it a go!
