Made in Japan sometime in the early 90s The bass is very lightweight due to it being made of special Japanese Zen wood. It has a really thin/fast jazz type neck, complete with genuine Gotoh gold hardware. These basses are becoming increasingly rare these days due to manufacturing coming to an end in the mid-90s. Happy Jack Posted May 12, 2014 Share Posted May 12, 2014 That bass is identical to the one I foolishly sold some years ago. I spent ages trying to replace it and finally found one in green. If you don't know about the SB320, this is a truly staggering amount of bass for the money - very high build quality, superb tone, light weight, hugely under-rated. I had mine strung with LaBella FLs (flatwounds) and it was absolutely righteous. At £200, this is probably one of the best VFM basses you'll see on Basschat this year.
