Feast thine eyes on this 1971 Fender Precision. Well worn Olympic White, gone yellow with a rosewood fretboard. The neck butt is stamped “5 08 71 B”. I couldn’t get this to show up in the pics. Pots, pickups and hardware are all original with the exception of the output socket which has been replaced. The original is included. The bass is currently wearing Graphtech saddles. Again the originals are included although one saddle is missing it’s grub screws. Also included are the original bridge and pickup covers.

The case is a later reproduction, 80’s or 90’s I guess.

Plays and sounds great and is lightweight. I will update later with the weight.

The bass belongs to a guitarist friend of mine. He has owned it since the mid 90’s and until recently used it for the odd bass job he’d get. He says he would rather do the deal in person than post, so collection only I’m afraid. He’s looking for £2000. We are both based in Colne, Lancashire. Feel free to get in touch and come around for a butchers.

Alan.
