If anyone's interested, Kyle Eastwood has just announced some UK dates. What do we reckon - credible musician in his own right, or still trading on the family name?

I thought this was decent enough, although it's a shame that the pianist seems to be having so much trouble finding the set of keys he's dropped inside the piano :D

He's totally credible as a musician in his own right now.I'm sure his name may have helped somewhat to begin with, but he's past
that point now. I saw him a couple of years ago in Southport and he was really good.He plays great electric and upright. His last
two albums have been ace too.

I'd certainly give him a listen on his own merits.

Possibly loosley related, you be the judge..... a few years ago I went to see Steven Segal in his guise as blues guitarist. Unusual technique using his thumb nail as a pick, and very good at what he did, he told about getting guitar lessons from both Muddy Waters and Albert Collins while "sat on the stoop of his shack"; which could be true but there a few <_< looks around.
