now TRADED

Beautiful 2012 Lakland 55-02 in natural polyurethane finish. Absolutely standard. No dings or marks at all on this bass that I can find. Typically excellent Lakland B string.
Comes with nice Hiscox hardshell case.

Not a lot more to say about it apart from that really. A mint, few months old bass

Bought as a serious foray into 5 strings. I gave it my best shot but found that I still really only want to play 4 strings. so there's not much point me having a bass with that 5th string getting in the way. No way this would be moving on if I still wanted a fiver.

I've done one of my pyjama demo videos of the bass ....

I used to have one of these, this is one beautiful bass! I'm not sure the vid does the sounds available from these justice, it's hugely versatile! I only sold mine cos I got an ACG!!

Someone buy this!

Alan's a great guy to deal with too!

I tend to agree with you Andy. I think I spent too much time on the 50:50 blend of the pickups in the vid. The bass definately shines on other tones better (like many other basses) . I might have another go, if I can motivate myself.

These are fantastic basses , and this looks to be a beautiful example . That natural ash is very nicely figured and goes lovely with the maple board . Lakland use genuine American swamp ash for these basses and ship it to the Far East to be made into bodies for the Skyline range . One of the nicest Skylines I have ever seen . Have a bump on me .
