Bass_In_Yer_Face Posted May 8, 2008 Share Posted May 8, 2008 Just rediscovered 'Forget Me Nots' by Patrice Rushen (Still keep expecting Will Smith to rap over it) and discovered after a google search that a guy called Freddie Washington played on it. FWIW, Freddie Washington and Keith Carlock on Drums are a [b]MONSTER [/b] rhythm section IMHO. I saw a clinic with him at the Bass Centre back in the 90's where he slapped the bass part to Smooth Criminal, very, very tightly. Also sounded great just playing a line by himself.
