In walnut oiled finish weighing around 5.5lbs. Piezo bridge, strung with new Thomastik Infeld acousticores. [/quote] Agreed....the RB5's are absolutely superb, unique basses. I have had mine for a number of years and am still reluctant to part with it, but I have returned to playing 4 strings only. There is however a simple device called a 'Dingus' available from Rick Turner which extends the strap location on the body of the bass if this is an issue.
