I'm selling my Streamer $$ natural finish, 4 string, right handed bass, gold hardware. The bass was made in Germany and is the higher spec bass (it is not a rockbass). The bass is in perfect condition, was bought from new and has literally been used a handful of times. Local viewing is welcomed (West Wales), although if this is not possible I can provide as many photos as required. I can also do a video call via FaceTime, or Skype if that helps.

I have previously sold two basses via ebay (a Warwick Corvette Fretless Standard and a Fender Precision). Both purchasers were extremely pleased with the basses, the accuracy of the listing information, delivery and overall service. My eBay profile and feedback is here:

The suggested retail price from warwick is £1949.00 and this can be found on their website:

The bass specs from the Warwick site:

More details from the warwick website:

The Streamer $$ has the right sound for every situation. Two MEC MM-Style pickups with open pole pieces can make straight drive, but, if required, offers the right sound for slaps and funk - made possible by the ingenious circuitry. Both pickups can be switched in serial, parallel or single coil independently of each other, and the MEC 2-band electronic permits even further effective conditioning of the signal.

The body is made of US Swamp Ash, and is ergonomically perfectly shaped, as one would expect from a Streamer. The neck is made of Maple with a fingerboard of Wenge and has 24 frets.

Would appear to be a bit of a bargain that...

Thank you! :-)

I'm constantly struggling about whether to sell this bass. It really is beautiful. However, I've just bought a Stingray Classic and can't justify owning five basses! My Warwick Thumb bass has too many sentiments attached to it and the limited edition corvette hot rod is something special. So that leaves the Streamer $$. Hmmmmmm. It really is a great bass and has a fantastic curved body. Also the sound possibilities are endless and I'm very guilty for not exploring them all.

Have a bump from me - smashing bass and a good price, but I've got my eyes on a Corvette $$ at the moment.

Cheers Bo0tsy and nice Space Bass. Thanks for the comment about the good price too - I'm starting to think I should put it up! ;)

Fully endorse this bass as a model. I have an '08 Streamer $$ 5 which plays beautifully and has tonal options galor thanks to the switchable wiring of each pup, the EQ and the blend. As a personal preference I swapped out the MEC pre with an OP-3 as I prefer the frequencies of the OP-3 and wanted control of my mids on the bass itself but otherwise it's perfect for me along side my thumb and jazz with flats.

Anyone considering the buy: take it from a fellow owner - it's a corker!

I like the principle but find the look of the $$ a little too unbalanced. The pups are too big, just an opinion

The pups do look like they are on steroids! I liked the look, but can see how it may not be for everyone.

Yeah I did actually have that sole reservation before buying myself as I was in two minds about the look. But love or hate it: it's simply the only way to get that range of pup configs available on one bass - which for a workhorse is ideal for those who need to cover different styles.

Just to restate that this is bass is pretty much in perfect condition and is like new. I have literally gigged with this bass once (back in 2007!). Video footage of the $$ in action can be seen on youtube below (not my finest of playing though!):

Further price drop to £780. I think this is a great price for a superb bass.

Amen

I originally aid £1250 for my old 5 string version and by God it was worth every pound.

Great basses and hard to come by!
