J bass wiring help

Evening all. I've never swapped out pickups before so please be gentle. Could someone advise if/ how to put these EMG select J pups on to a pre wired j bass control plate? They only have one wire so I just wanted some guidance before trying and potentially making a mess.

The one wire coming out of the pickups is coaxial (contains both wires)!

that's what I was going to suggest - best to use wire strippers if you're not too confident, it can be a bit fiddly.

Remember not to blow on the solder joints as they are cooling, tempting though it is... :huh:
