looking at a fender p on ebay thats ending later but can't make my mind up if it's a genuine one or not as the seller has only taken a couple of pictures. apparently its a MIJ one. Is there a fender expert on here that might be able to identify it as genuine? cheers. can't get on ebay at work to put a link up but the item number is 271003344261. thanks in advance for any advice.

I'd ask him for more/better pics. :)

you defo need more better pics, esp some front & rear headstock shots  looks nice though! I promise not to bid :P

hehe! bid away if you want, without better pics I'm a bit dubious as you would expect someone selling a fender to have a few close ups and headstock pics!

How do you know that it's MIJ, the seller tell you? It's not stated in the ad.

If 'MPN' in the ad refers to the serial number, a 'T' followed by 6 digits would be right for a MIJ from 1994-1995.

The seller told me. I left it in the end because I asked for more pics and all he sent was blown up shots of the same pic on ebay!!!!

Some people are just muppets when it comes to selling stuff. I've lost track of the number of ads for expensive gear where the only photo is a badly lit low resolution mobile phone camera shot. Even if the seller is genuine it just makes them look dodgy. It can score you some cheap deals though, if you're willing to take a risk...
