I really want a fretless P much like the Tony Franklin but on a budget. Iwas thinking of a MIM P and a slab of ebony.Anyone done this? Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted April 22, 2008 Share Posted April 22, 2008 (edited) It'll be much more cost effective to get a fretless P neck with ebony board from Brandoni. When I bought one it was about £100 - so you should cover your costs by flogging the fretted neck. I built my fretless with a brandoni body as well as the neck and hardware from various places.
