discreet
I have small hands so I don't know if I could possibly cope with a partial 37 scale...
I don't think you'd have a problem. The fanned frets make it much easier to play all round. It's the work of a minute or two at most to get used to them, then you're off. poptart
Yeah Dingwall fanned fret basses have been on my "to try" list for ages. Well just Dingwall basses of any shape or form really. I dont think I've ever even seen a single one in a shop. Sigh!
You are in luck - the worlds largest dealer for DINGWALL basses in just over an hour away from you.........:-) Mark
Muzz
Fretmeister, you really need to try a Dingwall, they really are extraordinary basses, and Bass Direct is definitely the best place to do this. If by any chance you don't get on with a Dingwall, Mark has a zillion other top-drawer basses and amps there, too...it's definitely a "I've always wanted to try..." sort of establishment

Guest MrsJ
Iain and I were talking about this yesterday, actually it was more Iain talking me into buying one, I as usual roll the eyes and think "God not another one" then i saw this http://www.bassdirec...SPZ5_BLACK.html He is now a happy man cause he knows he doesnt need to talk me into it.. I WANT one of these in my house
Ashborygirl
I've been through the gamut of boutique basses but my Dingwall AB1 is head & shoulders above anything I've ever played. I can't recommend them enough, just wonderful, wonderful instruments.
