tombomb Posted October 28, 2011 Share Posted October 28, 2011 So apparently been a member since May, time flies when you're having fun!! Finally got around to uploading a pic and some info. So I picked up a bass in March at the same time that a friend started playing the drums. (some sort of late 20s crisis???) We had a couple of jams with another friend and decided to start a band. After a drunken conversation with the other two we realised all of our mums are called susan, so the name "Sons of Susan" seemed pretty obvious... Had a couple of lucky breaks with gear and managed to get a reasonable setup for not too much money. We've just spent last Saturday recording another track. Generally just having lots of fun with the whole thing, and can't wait to be better (after lots more practice...) Anyways, feeling a little guitly about getting loads out of the forum and not really giving that much, lots of really great advice and info on the site makes me feel a bit overwheled by how little I know!!
