I have a Hohner B2a for sale, it works well but has been played extensively over the last few years, so expect the usual dings here and there but nothing major.

Excerpt from http://www.incredibid.co.uk/acatalog/B2A_H...Bass_Black.html (who sell it for £350):

"From Hohner, this stylish little guitar is a very popular bass, excellent quality made from all top quality components.

Solid U.S. maple body and neck; neck-thru-body construction; rosewood fingerboard; two-way adjustable truss rod; 24 frets; Steinberger® licensed headless DB detunable bridge; two Select by EMG® humbucking pickups; active tone controls; active on/off switch with LED; two volume controls; one concentric tone control; and a fold-out leg rest.

Always very popular as a travel instrument as the size and weight is vastly reduced compared with a conventional bass guitar.|

The action is still beautiful and is great for tapping the pots are slightly stiff but still work well giving a wide range of tones. It's so conveniently small that it fits into an electric guitar soft case. Sold with a set of La Bella Double Ball S100S (045 065 085 105) strings. The battery cover is missing but 9V stills sits snug.

Several reviews:

Seeing as she's going for a song, hardly any point posting if you're in the area, so collection possible from Cambridge.

Sorry guys, might have been on the forum for a year but this is my first posting. Didn't even realise my draft got posted, so when I uploaded the thread I was surprised that there was already a post waiting!

I take back what I said about the pots, a bit of contact cleaner and they're pucker! The volume control for the bridge pickup is a bit less tight than the other volume control but no issues whatsoever with either volume control or the pot/pan tone control.

It must be one of the most portable full length scale bass ever! A real bargain!

Have a few requests for posting it but would rather not if I can help it. Will be going to look for a box for it tomorrow, unless someone around here wants to come and pick her up. Otherwise for those of you who requested postage I'll find out what it'll cost and be back with you tomorrow (if I can get to the post office before they shut) or if not monday.

Cheers,
Matt

If you can't find a case for it: Shorten the strap as far as it'll go, put it on one shoulder with the bass neck pointing down, then put on your overcoat. You're ready to go to the show.

Maybe not so clever these days, especially if you look a bit Brazilian, but it worked for me when I had one. :)

Sorry I've been away - all PMs replied, she is now spoken for ... I see a Steinberger Spirit up for sale as well on BC.

Thank you all for your interest.
