1. Would prefer cash but willing to trade ...
2. It is approx 4.5kg and 17mm spacing, hope that clarifies things
3. All you need to know and more http://www.markbass.it/product_detail.php?id=39 Best way to tell if it's for you - like with any amp, is to come by and play through it (if you are in driving distance).
4. Much much lighter than my Warwick Thumb and it's neck is lighting fast as well. Don't actually have a scale handy but if you're keen I'll borrow one, weigh it up and let you know.
5. £550 for a hopefully irresistible offer ....
6. Price drop to £600ono for quick sale, please PM me sensible offers.
7. Pedulla Thunderbass which looks perfectly good from the front with quite a bit of buckle rash on the rear. Plays amazingly well, currently set-up very low, perfect for tapping. These retail for about £2,400 new but as it's got cosmetic issues looking for offers around the £1,200 mark. Baby on the way means having to reluctantly give up my gear. If you're in Cambridge, please feel free to PM me and come and audition it - be warned though, you'll fall in love with it. Thanks for looking.
8. Markbass CMD 102P which I bought when I lived in the US. In very good condition and used with a transformer which you can get quite easily from Maplin. Brilliant, huge sound, tight, reliable and very light. I'm sure if you're looking at this post you know all about it already. I'm looking for about [s]£650[/s][s]£600[/s] £550 for it. Reluctant sale as we've got a baby on the way. Hence the need to part with gear to make space (and pay for diapers) Thanks for looking. If you're near Cambridge you're welcome to come and audition it.
9. Her new owner has picked her up today, a big thank you to everyone for the interest. She is sadly not mine anymore.
10. Sorry I've been away - all PMs replied, she is now spoken for ... I see a Steinberger Spirit up for sale as well on BC. Thank you all for your interest.
If you can't find a case for it: Shorten the strap as far as it'll go, put it on one shoulder with the bass neck pointing down, then put on your overcoat. You're ready to go to the show. Maybe not so clever these days, especially if you look a bit Brazilian, but it worked for me when I had one.
11. Thanks for the interest, you're right! It is currently strung with roundwounds and the fingerboard is still unmarked. The bass is light measuring in (very roughly on my bathroom scale) at 3.5-4kg (7.7-8.8lbs). In relative terms I have a Warwick Corvette and a 70s Jazz (both 4 string) and they each weigh more than it.
