I have A question for all you effect bods.
recently I have been playing around with my effects and have considered acquiring some kind of volume/expression pedal where I can phase one effect in and one out while
maintaining volume, then reversing the pedal and bringing back the original effect. Also at a midpoint where both effects are active.
the effects in question are a BBM and an octave pedal.
thank;s in advance for your answers.

Other than build quality, the most important thing to keep in mind is the taper of the pedal. 'Logarithmic' tapers are more suited to volume whereas 'Linear' tapers are more suited to filters and non-volume-based changes.

I thought that "gig fx" did exactly what you need but I can't find it on their site now. I wanted to do a similar thing myself a while ago and this was the only pedal I could find to do it. It was too pricey for me so I just danced on two volume pedals instead. I used my LS-2 to mix the two signals together.

Right,
I have been 'avin a think-now this is just a theory i have,
and i would welcome peoples take on this
What if i got a cheap volume pedal and did this-
BASS -A/B?Y box-OCTAVE-A/B/Y BOX-Other effects-amp.
|__VOL+FUZZ_______|
Or even better- substitute the first A/B/Y Box for a Splitter cable
