Recently I have had my head turned with the streamliner and it's all it's great reviews, the added warmth and thickness sounds lush. Should I do it or should I stick to the shuttle and get a vt bass deluxe with the flexibility of programmer sounds? Or buy both for pure greed and excess!!??? uke Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 I have a Shuttle 6 too and used it for the last couple of gigs with the programmable Sansamp bass driver DI, three preset sounds all footswitchable! I use a warm valve sound on 1, a modern scooped sound on 2, and a full on Ampeg sound for the punkier numbers and "Song 2" on 3. Pretty much the best working muso solution I've found! insomuch as, I think you could plug this pedal into anything and get a good sound! stingrayPete1977 Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 (edited) The advantage of the shuttle over the streamliner as I see it is you can add a sansamp or other toys to get great sounds yet have a clear modern sound too where from the clips i have seen the streamliner never runs as clean as a shuttle, You still have a degree of valve drive in a shuttle if you are caught short even if it's not going to keep the Ampeg fans happy. Perhaps I need to see if I could live with complete tube in my life. Really? That's surprises me. I thought either the progammable or vt deluxe would be thick as. Wish there were some decent bass suppliers in Lancashire so I could have a good sniff!
