Many rate their stuff higher than Fender-including Leo himself. LLOYDWT Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 Yeah, the L in G&L stands for Leo, as in Leo Fender, its the company he founded after leaving Musicman, and G&L make very nice alternatives to Fender Precisions', Jazzs' & Musicman Stingrays, the Tributes are the cheaper non US guitars, but they are a good alternative to the Mexican Fenders, or just Leo Fender fans looking for a G&L instrument that won't break the bank.
