Strife34 Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 Hey BassChat, My friend brought the bass you can see beneath for £50 from our local music shop, it has a stunning tone to it considering it only has P bass pickups. I'm not too sure what it is, its 3/4 scale and I've seen a Fernandes Bass that is VERY similar to this any experts that can help me figure what is it? Bassassin Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 Looks way too "budget" to be a Fernandes - they have done some nice shortscales but this isn't ringing any bells for me. However you'll find a pretty comprehensive archive of Fernandes catalogues between 1973 & 2009 [url="http://www.fernandes.co.jp/others/catalog/list.html"]here[/url] - might be worth a look (if you've got a spare afternoon!) just to make sure. P bass pickups can sound just as awesome/terrible as any other IMHO. Other than that I can't really add to what the others have said.
