It seems the correct approach to pricing your bass on eBay these days is to ignore the recession & crank that price to the max. Drop your vastly overpriced links off here folks!

A Stingray with a BiN that is double what these models are fetching on our forum.

A nice curio from the 70s but £899 ?

The butchered remains of a 63 Jazz, a snip at £3650

A Status S3000, add the shipping, VAT & duty & it's yours for just £600 more than it's realistically worth.

Why pay Guitar Guitar £1599 delivered for a Ricky when you can have a used one for just £46 more?

Seriously - what are people taking? Nice bass but £450?

Inaccurate description, lousy photo, non-original parts, £500 BiN. He might manage the £200 opening bid, I suppose.
I've noticed another trend using Ebay auction toset an inflated price for a BIN

I've been watching a load of stuff to see the final prices.

Stuff "sells" for say £207

It then gets relisted £250 BIN

Oh and all the bids are private.
Do you mean that the new buyer is reselling at the higher price? Or that the original seller is has blown off the buyer, and is selling again?

This takes some beating, unheard of brand, 1 picture of the back of a DIFFERENT bass - oh & a top question from a potential buyer :) .
