For a general place to start for JC stuff I think is a Sansamp GT2 and a Chorus/Flange pedal and a delay pedal for some parts. There's a GT2 for sale in the effects forum - I almost grabbed it maself!

You can count his clangers by the number of filthy looks he gets from Adam Jones in the course of each song! :)

I found a video on Jim Dunlop which gives a tour of his whole rig, he uses an array of modulation effects and has 2 GK amps running constantly, one dirty one clean with separate effects loops for each, dirty into a Mesa 4x12 and clen into an 8x10.

I guess the big difference it the GT2 is geared towards guitar rather than bass...
