oldslapper
Mini 1x15 Sold. ABM EVO 300 combo with 1x10 driver[s], and matching mini 1x15 "over-run" cab with Ashdown grill and badge. Both UK built.[/s] Shown with a Warwick Streamer to give you an idea of size (hopefully). Come with Ashdown covers [s]for both units and a Jack-Speakon lead.[/s] It's not in shiny new condition, so has some speck marks here and there. [s][/s] I've used this for both electric and double bass, and I found it flexible enough for both. These combo's are quite rare as, according to Guy from Ashdown, they only made a few of these. Same width and depth as the Mini series cabs (only a tiny bit taller)[s], this sits neatly on top of the matching 1x15.[/s] Their size does mean they take up very little room at home and in a car boot. Only selling as I've gone even "mini-er" and bought a CMD121P combo, which will suit all my needs. I'll pop some piccies up in next few days. [s]Do not wish to split.[/s] Mates guitar shop will courier this for £20, if needed. I have a box/secure wrapping, etc. I am prepared to drive, say an hour, from North Dorset to Basingstoke, Bristol, Bournemouth, Exeter-ish for delivery/meet up. bumnote
Great little combo, and works well with either of the ashdown minis
Bigwan
Never used mine with any of the other mini cabs, but can confirm that the combo is awesome! It's one of the few bits of gear I'd never part with.
oldslapper
Thanks guys, I didn't know they even made these as they don't appear on any Ashdown catalogue. I did suggest trying to load them with a Neo, but in the end the weight difference wouldn't be sufficient to justify. Pics now up.
bumnote
The 15 is interesting as it looks as if the driver is offset and there is a front port. Mine which is the mk 2 with the center badge and oval handles.has two rear ports and the driver is central.
oldslapper
It's a production over run cab, with a Celestion in. I put an Ashdown grill on. Not sure how the Ashdown Mk1's were configured? The 1x15 is surprisingly light and, imho, quite bright for a 1x15, without losing any bottom end. How's yours?

However, following that discussion with Stevie and phil star about changing the driver on your combo, Im in the middle of putting some wadding in the 1x15 which may make a difference. Whichever way, its a great little combination to use the combo with one of the minis
bartelby
No split? Bah! That combo is surprisingly small and light and John's a great guy to deal with.

I'll bear you in mind if you are after the 1x15, if the 2 don't sell together,....you'll then have my complete old rig.... Still loving the LMII & 4x8? CraigPlaysBass
Another one of yours that I am interested in! Again, if/once the marshall stuff sells I' be all over this, but I wouldn't hold your breath! Bit of a noob question, after playing with the 300 watt marshall half stack, how do you think this handles quite loud rock gigs? It's the same power but through a single 10 and 15 rather than a 4x10...

Is your Marshall head using the full 300watts into the 4x10? Looking at the Ashdown web site and the manual I have, it doesn't tell me what the combo puts out without the extension cab. I'm really not good at this stuff, but there are a couple of guys here, like "bumnote" & "Stevie", who could give you the answer I'm sure. oldslapper
Just had a look at your ad Criag...and I know I'm doing myself out of a potential sale, but I reckon your Marshall will be a louder option, if that's what your after. The Ashdown is very compact, which is it's only advantage from what I can see, and maybe the British build? John

The more I use it, the more I love it. The 4 x 8" has already silenced a few sceptics. Hopefully it'll get it's first gig, with me, near the end of January. bumnote
£200 for the combo is a steal, you would have to pay virtually that for an ABM 300 top
