I've been quite a regular reader here but, I don't know why, I never registered to this forum. I play progressive rock, and my favourite bassists are Simon Gallup, Derek Forbes, John Taylor, Colin Hodgkinson, James Jamerson and last but not least Macca!!! A few words about my rig? 1999 MM StingRay 4 nat/rw 2000 MM StingRay 5 blk/rw 2001 MM StingRay 5 nat/mn 2008 MM StingRay 4 vint.sb/rw/matching headstock 1987 Kubicki ex Factor blk 1986 Steinberger XL2 wht 2001 Fender Am.Std. P sky blue/rw 2009 Fender Am.Ser- P blk/rw 2009 F bass BN5 b/w ceruse / mn 2010 Fender '75 reissue usa nat/mn (black blocks) 1984 Aria Pro II Sb1000 (all the basses with Schaller Straplocks and extra long Comfort Strapp straps) and last week I ordered a Wal mkII 4 strings (etd 10/2011) Marshall 5506 Marshall 5520 Peavey Megabass + 3620 cab (2x18" + 2x10") Ampeg SVT-6 pro + 2 SVT 410HE Ampeg SVT CL + SVT 810E Ampeg Micro VR + SVT 210 (the mini stack) Various pedals and a Boss me-50B, but they don't see regular use anymore. Tabacco, SSL and Pete Cornish cables and Aguilar DB900 tube D.I. Strings? Let me know if you get tired of any of those bases, ill do you the favour of taking one off your hands. In fact I'd walk all the way to Rome to pick one up ps: I'm bidding on ebay right now, to a similar Aria Pro II to yours. Any chance of a picture of it?
