bassatnight Posted November 6, 2010 Share Posted November 6, 2010 Folks, I have been inquiring regarding a Japanese Jazz on the bay, the seller seemed legite until I questioned the strange material running from the bridge to the bridge pup I asked him what it was and got the reply below: [b]Hi! This is copper wire for the Solder(ground). It is well used for a jazz base. Of course, this is original. Thank you so much![/b] Ignoring the broken English, I have never seen any kind of grounding on display, his add mentions him doing some refurb work himself I think I shall steer clear but such a shame as its a dream finish in a lovely shade of blue.
