Hello all,
I'm putting up for sale my lovely Mayones Victorious 4 Custom. The bass is in a mint condition, no scratches, dings - no such things at all. It's hand made in Poland, left Mayones Custom Shop on 6th of February 2009. The warranty is still valid.
It's not my only Mayones bass, and I'm in serious need of money, that's why I decided to sell it...
The bass sounds GREAT, you can create many diverse tones, though I would say it sounds more like a modern and selective instrument, which is quite obvious when you take a bass' specification into consideration. :)

Okay, lets get to the point:

Body Profiled Ash back & Wenge middle/Eye poplar top

Neck 9-ply / Maple-Mahogany

Fingerboard Ebony

Scale 870mm (34,25")

Construction Neck-thru-body

Frets 24 medium jumbo Ferd Wagner

Markers Bloody red LEDs + side dots

Tuners Schaller M4

Bridge Mayones X2 two-piece brass bridge

Pickups 2x Bartolini Soapbar

Electronics active Aguilar OBP3

Control 1xVolume,1xBalance,1xMiddle,1xTreble/Bass

Body and neck finish Natural wood / Gloss finish

Hardware colour Black

Nut Ebony

Jack Switchcraft

The bass comes with a hardcase, Hipshot Xtender, bill of sale, user's manual (which is not only in Polish, but in English and German too :D ) and hex keys.

The bass is located in Poland, shipping to other European countries is not a problem. Packaging is not a problem as well - I really know how to do this. :)

As for the method of payment - I prefer Bank transfer (sorry guys, I'm not really a PayPal enthusiast :) ).

Thank you for your attention,
Michał

Again, the bass is very versatile - good for slapping, tapping, rock, funk, metal, progressive. Victorious I offer can sound like this:

Hi Michael
she is a beauty-I'm tempted but should have tried one to see if the neck suits my hands as much as she suits my eyes,
best wishes, joe
That is stunning.

What is the action like? Bit hard to tell from the photo's without a players POV.

Also how is the balance?

I am so tempted. It almost looks Ritter-esque.

This is the first bass I've seen for a while that's had me reaching for the cheque book....apart from that flippin' Black Beauty :)
The action is very low, bass is also well balanced, no neck diving of course!

@Chris2112: What Mayones model do you mean? I guess it's Mayones BE, am I right? (can't find any Mayo guitar on The Bass Gallery website)
BE is the most basic Mayones bass, I would not even compare it to Victorious. :) I'd rather compare it to Warwick Corvette Proline. Victorious is like from other, better world.
Btw, thanks for the comment!

I said to myself that I would stop buying basses but this is just a trick of the devil to get me going again :-)
I can't find anything that I dislike about this bass (the wood is just so beautiful) but I would have to sell one of my other basses to justify this one..
Maybe I will :-) (this is the devil talking)

Ah, I can see it now. Well, as I supposed, it's a Mayones BE and it's only £300 cheaper than Victorious I offer. Plus my bass comes with a hard case and Hipshot Xtender which is worth about £65. Considering all these facts, I think my offer is quite a bargain. In my opinion, you just can't find a better bass in this price range...
