Selling my Ashdown usa 810, i've only had it just under 2 months. It's mint condition other than 1 scuff in the tolex at the bottom.

I love this cabinet to pieces but i just can't warrant using it as often as i'd like. I'd hope to re-gain most of the money i spent on it, it retails at £1070 but i'd consider offers in the region of £800. Pick up from Bristol only.

Wow I never knew Ashdown did a "made in the USA" range. You learn something new every day.
Seems odd that it ended up back here in Blighty. I guess the economy is such that it is more cost effective to pay a US workforce to build them and ship them here rather than paying English (or even Chinese) guys to do it.

I used to be a big fan of Ashdown ABM cabs - great sound with the right amp.

....Its got lightweight Neodymium speakers in it!
BUMP!
Don't think it's a neo cab. Ashdown do a Neo810 (shown here) but this looks like it's one of the USA cabs with the standard ceramic drivers.

Here's the link to the USA 810:

The pic of the back plate clearly states that the speakers are Nd.... :)

Its confusing though, as the USA ceramic cab is rated at 1600W and the UK Neo at 1050W - whereas this one says 1200W on the back plate...

Oh yeah! I should look a bit closer shouldn't I? Agreed, think the Ashdown site giving conflicting information is a bit confusing.

Sorry TLeonard91, we've hijacked your thread a bit.

Best of luck with the sale. Looks like a mighty fine cab!
No worries, it's fine! I spoke to Ashdown about the power rating, and all of them are 1200w and they said it needs to be changed on their website. As for the Neo speakers, haven't a clue whats going on, sounds sweet as though!
So much lovely gear, so little space in the garage and so little spare cash :-(

With this stunning Ashdown 810 and the other Ampeg 810AV for sale, I'm starting to get some lust for another big cab. Think the best sound I ever had was when I had my Ampeg 810 and whilst I know the downside is the practicality of moving such a large box, it always sounded and looked so amazing. For better or worse, I think I'll always be an "old skool big heavy cabs are better" guy.

Re whether or not it's neo equipped, the Ashdown site says the neo cabs are approx 60kg. What's the weight of this one?
