With a heavy heart as I thought this was going to be a keeper: For sale Warwick Streamer Stage 1 from 1990 With original MEC pups and 2 band pre. Comes with Warwick Rockbass gig bag. A bit wider neck than the 1998 version I sold recently (closer to 40mm) but very slim back to front. It's soooo comfortable it plays itself. Literally. It sounds epic too. Big, ballsy, transparent - you name it. Classic Streamer sound at its best. Condition wise it has a bit of light buckle rush at the back and there is a bit of discoloration (lets face it - a dirt mark - not mine, bought like that) where hand rests above the bridge and similar one at the bottom back (see the pics). I guess it could be cleaned. No marks on the neck, no dings, nothing like that. Hardware looks like new. So why I sell it then? Well.. recently I bought Spector Euro 5LX and having 4 basses (I also have Spector 4lx Special Edition and Yamaha BB1024x) while playing just in 1 band is a bit too many and it's time to pay off the credit card. It seem to make more sense to keep 5 string Spector for diversity also recently I was lucky to become Spector Artist (so I can't really be seen with a Warwick, can I? ) I'm not really interested in trades (unless it's 4 string Spector with 35" scale ). Views welcome. I'm based in London, Clapton E5. Pics: https://www.flickr.c...57651234096591/

Sold my Warwick Streamer Stage 1 to Pete. Great guy to deal with, hassle free transaction. Taking Pete's age and the gear he owns (including a lovely Warwick SS1 now ) I've come to a conclusion that GAS is not a curable disease...
Awwwww man...would you consider a Saab 9-3 as a trade in? J/K. Beautiful, beautiful bass. If my numbers come up tonight I'm having that. Pretty much my dream bass right there.
LOL! Car for a bass? Finally I could drive myself to the gigs

For sale 4 string Warwick Streamer Stage 1 made in Germany in 1998 Natural Oil finish flamed maple body Near mint condition I found 3 tiny marks on it (1 on the back and 2 in the front) , no buckle rush at all. The frets are not as shiny anymore (I guess they could get cleaned though) so I would give the bass 9/10 condition wise. Very nice, warm and woody sound with loads of sustain and nice growl. All original with MEC pickups and 3 way 18V preamp with push/pull active/passive. The neck is slim Jazz type but not super thin like 80's models. Up to the 7th fret it's C shaped and then it flattens into more D shape (like on Nate Mendel Precision) which is very comfortable for playing those notes up the fret board. Warwick Rockbass gig bag included.
