1. Sold Spector Ns-2A to polarbear123. Very nice and trustworthy chap. Thanks!
2. Hello! For sale nearly mint Yamaha BB1024x in Caramel Brown. Just 3 months old. Comes with original gig bag and even original carton box if needed Nearly mint as there is a little buckle scratch I did that one time I forgot to remove my belt off. Other then that it's as new. If you're looking at this post you probably know already that it sounds fantastic (growly and punchy when pushed but sweet when you play soft...like a milk and honey but nicely pronounced, not muddy... no dead notes...just lush ) and it's comfortable to play (neck is slim, 40mm at the nut so a bit wider than Jazz but narrower than P-bass...just perfect!). IMHO it's the best buy for under £1500. Only one I would choose over is BB2024x... but it cost over 2k I'll try to add some pics tomorrow. For now check the link: http://www.chappello...tar?attributes= Cheers! P.S. I'm based in London, E5.
3. Bump for the beautiful bass. They are amazing bang for the buck! (I own one myself ) Warm, punchy, growly when pushed or smooth when played gently. Sit well in the mix and have no dead notes.
4. For sale Pyramid Bass Drop C Heavy 55-75-95-126 strings. Good for drop C (C,G,C,F) or drop B tuning (B,F#,B,E) New except A string that I've put on for about 15 minutes and realized that's a bit too heavy gauge for me. I bought them from Thomann for €39 (about £33) with delivery. I'm asking for just £20. Here is the link: http://www.thomann.de/gb/pyramid_bass_drop_c_heavy.htm Cheers!
5. Good to see it go so quick. Great bass for a good price! I might sell mine soon too....but only if I manage to buy BB2024x..
6.
Someone please buy this and take it out of harms way of my wallet!!
It looks like you've got already a few Spectors (and Warwicks) . Are they as addictive as tatoos?
7.
Anyone after a budget Spector look no further. These are higher quality than the current Korean models. Glad to see its loaded with proper EMG's, dynamite!
Thanks for your comment Larmer. Yes, the EMG's make a big difference
8. I had a chance to play this Spector on the rehearsal last night... and with those EMGs the sound was HUGE! I wonder how come such a small and light bass sound so big?
9. Try to use Flickr or Photobucket then just paste the link..

11.
Wow ... unbelievable price. This will clean up really nicely. Someone is going to have the bargain of the century here.
+1
12. Awaiting EMG pups...Should have them fitted before the weekend...will do the setup too.. The price will go up a bit ( I hope that's not against BC rules as I'm doing an upgrade )

14. For sale Spector NS-2A, Kramer Era - made in Korea circa 1987/88 Color: red stain (you can see the wood grain from close up) Famous Has-Lab preamp. Neck through. Schaller machine heads, strap locks [s]and pickups[/s]. EMG pickups. Closest you you can get to USA NS-2 as it's the same body shape, 3 piece design (not like Euro ones) and Haz-Lab preamp. It's very light too (3.76 Kg / 8.28 lbs) There is few scratches and dings (as you would expect from 25 years old bass) but it's in not a bad shape at all. I bought it recently from Cetera but in the mean time bass of my dreams (Yamaha BB2024x) appeared on BC and I need to raise the money a.s.a.p. to satisfy my GAS Pics: http://www.flickr.co...69155/lightbox/
