This might be a long shot but does anyone have a white Squier Precision Bass V scratchplate that they want to swap for a tortoiseshell one? I have a tort one in excellent condition but I'd like a white one :-)

much as Status are an awkward and pompous company to deal with these days, these Energys are great basses - I had one for 15-odd years and it was superb; the wood necks are just as good to play as the graphite ones and very stable. Lovely colour and a good price too - IIRC the gloss colour finish was an extra £150 option at the time on top of the £699 basic price.
