1. is it a 5 string though? If not, then I doubt it will fit as the pickup is larger on mine...
2. This might be a long shot but does anyone have a white Squier Precision Bass V scratchplate that they want to swap for a tortoiseshell one? I have a tort one in excellent condition but I'd like a white one :-)
3. Just waiting to hear back from the luthier bump...any interest?
4. Final bump before I just get a new fretboard made...
5. PMd
6.
Ha Ha - Some kind of hard wood? I'm guessing at Ash..... Hopefully someone will be along shortly to put me straight (oo'er)
Alder actually. Not very funny, but there it is.
7. SOLD £320 ono I've barely used this as it's just too loud for my needs/neighbours; full working order, sounds gorgeous with any type of guitar, classic valve tone. New, these cost £439-£470. I can't attach pics for some reason (I know other people have been having problems with the uploader) so drop me a line with your email address for some pics - it's in great condition and is the blue tolex version. Would be tempted by trades of decent ES335 or jazz style (ES150/Epi Emperor/Washburn J series etc style) guitars or Epiphone Jack Casady basses; would also be tempted by part exchanges of smaller (1W-5W) valve guitar amps. Great Wikipedia article on this amp here: http://en.wikipedia....er_Blues_Junior Here are the specs: Controls: Reverb, Master, Middle, Bass, Treble, "Fat" Switch, Volume Input Impedance: 1 M Input Impedance Output Impedance: 8 Ohm Amplifier Depth: 9.18" (23.31 cm) Amplifier Width: 18" (45.72 cm) Amplifier Height: 16" (40.6 cm) Amplifier Weight: 31 lbs. (14.06 kg) Effects: Spring Reverb Pickup only from High Wycombe or Staines or can meet within reasonable distance of either - please contact me first so we can agree what "reasonable" means. Cash on collection preferred but Paypal accepted as well.
8. bargain if you're in paisley - great amps
9. much as Status are an awkward and pompous company to deal with these days, these Energys are great basses - I had one for 15-odd years and it was superb; the wood necks are just as good to play as the graphite ones and very stable. Lovely colour and a good price too - IIRC the gloss colour finish was an extra £150 option at the time on top of the £699 basic price.
