I was planning to part this out but just seeing if anyone wants to save me a job. It has got over £200 worth of parts easily. Dimarzio tone zone and air Norton pickups, nitro LPB refinish (not perfect but pretty good), gold hardware. Wiring is not working correctly - the tone controls are push-push and are supposed to coil split the pickups but I seem to have screwed that up somehow. Also the actual tone function doesn't work! If you don't want to coil split or change tone then it works fine but realistically it needs to be rewired. As you can see, the ferrules on the back seem to have been butchered! This is how I received the guitar and they work fine, just look ugly. Also I just sprayed over them when I refinished it. Also there's a bit of overspray on the back of the headstock. Forgot to say that whilst I am ideally looking for straight sale, I would consider a trade / partial for a status electro 5 string unlined fretless or pedulla pentabuzz unlined. Could possibly be convinced by a custom shop precision bass too or a Yamaha BB5000 or ideally BB5000A mkII. Need the space more than anything else but those are dream bass options ;-)

Would consider trades for nice FX pedals, either bass or guitar.

It could always be refretted! However I think it really suits being fretless, particularly given how good the piezo is

Hi Ideally not as I'm looking to trim the herd before an impending house move but I could be tempted depending on what it is.

Amazing bass, professionally defretted by Andy Viccars who did an amazing job. He removed the frets, filled the slots, removed the old dot markers and repositioned the side dot markers. If you look really close you can see the filler but you have to be looking very closely. Serial number is 0086 :-) These basses have a well deserved reputation as being incredible for fingerstyle and they sound as close to a double bass as it's possible to get. Incredibly well made, superb locking tuners and beautiful neck. This is the pure piezo model and is in great condition, no marks to speak of and comes with its original hardshell case. Strung E-C with £60 worth of Thomastik nyloncore acoustic strings or alternatively I can put a barely used set of Roto Trubass on it instead. I bought this on Basschat at what was a bargain price and I'm going to let it go for what I paid for it plus the pro defret. Not a perfect respray but pretty good - bit of overspray on the back of the headstock and some minor dents. Matching headstock too with Fender early 70s logo. It's a nitro finish. Fender USA pickup and cover, tone control may need rewiring though as it doesn't work properly - I think I may have wired the capacitor incorrectly when I fitted the new pickup, it seems to not work on a clear gradient i.e. there's only a difference in sound at either end of the tone pot range. Frets in excellent condition, currently strung E-C with roto flats. Sounds great! No case but will be very well packed in a proper shipping carton, or alternatively (and preferably) picked up from High Wycombe or Staines. All the pictures I have seem to be massive and therefore am struggling to upload from my phone, ping me a message and I'll happily email more.

"Not sure what the top is..." I believe that's figured walnut, certainly looks like it and it was one of the main wood options offered on the Eclipse. Great basses, very underrated - there is graphite in it BTW, 2 rods in the neck either side of the truss rod.

It's great :-) seriously, these basses punch well above their weight. The B is solid and punchy and I've certainly played a lot worse for a lot more money.

[color=#000000]Absolutely beautiful and great sounding USA made Guild F47RCE. This guitar has the most rich and full sound of any acoustic I've ever played, solid spruce top which has aged to perfection and beautiful rosewood back and sides. To get a USA guitar of this quality with these woods would be upward of £1200 and then you'd have to wait for it to age to get anywhere near the sweetness of this one. [/color] [color=#000000]It has a marvellous Fishman Prefix preamp which includes both a piezo pickup and an internal microphone - you can blend the two using the inbuilt controls and get an amazing amplified sound. Tuners are top notch Grovers as well. [/color] [color=#000000]Guitar has a few dings (see photos) but no breaks; the dings are because it's been well used and gigged and it has a huge amount of mojo as a result. It's recently had a full fret dress, levelling and crowning and has a great low action. Comes complete with the original hardshell Guild case. Collection or meet up is preferred from either High Wycombe or Staines but I will post if required, fully insured using UPS. [/color]
