4.
I'd be quite interested if i can get hold of the box, another question though is it an original made in england model?
unfortunatley not, this is the reissue GV-2 model. the original made in england model was made around the late 80's/early 90's. Though this is still a great pedal, and in my view i think its a steal at 20 quid. The new marshall pedals are built like tanks too.
 5. can't go wrong with the SX basses, definently worth atleast double the money. but if you want a cheap Yamaha RBX 375 5er i have one for sale here on BC. 150 posted so definently within your price range. cheers, Nick

 10. ive found a distortion/od unit active in your signal chain can make the wah sound more full, i would highly recomend you try that to alter the sound on it.
 11. sorry about the inactivity on this one. ive withdrawn it until ive got enough money to get enough stomp boxes to fulfill my effects needs. sorry for the inconviniences!
 12. hey all, thought i might aswell add my piece to this thread. Im 17 and been playing for 3 years in january, regularly gigging for 2 and a half of those. looking at some of the equipment you guys have on here this all seems like cheap crap, but all i can do for the mo as i have just moved into my own place. please excuse the mess, only place to put the equipment is in a bike garage! setup is: Yamaha RBX 375 bass, peavey tnt 115 combo with a peavey 4x10 cab. pedals are : Digitech BSW, Russian big muff, marshall jackhammer, behringer chorus and a zoom multi fx. the other few pedals there that arent connected are a behringer flange and behringer phaser.
 13. is it possible to blend a clean signal with a signal with effects chain in? like to use the artcessories pedal as a blender..

 16.
Blimey didn't know there were so many fellow cornish lads on here Cool !! I live just outside St Austell in the china clay country!, but as everyone from down here knows your always 10 minutes away from the beach ! Thanks for all the welcomes Gaz
ah cool not too far from me then, live just outside bodmin.
 17. Nate mendel of the Foo fighters, very solid player. though i think dave grohl maybe a better bass player insome aspects though (listen to the probot album and youl know what i mean!), though it could be said Grohl is better than any of the other band members at their instruments!
 18. ah another cornishman didnt know there were any others on this forum! where you from matey?
 19.
i love it - i used it last night at my new band's practice and it sounds amazing (sorry tayste_2000 !!) !!! it's not a pretty sound, very ragged, but i don't think that's what it's for...no appreciable bass loss and adds a nice roughness to the sound. i was using it solely on the single muff setting, AND ran it before a little big muff and the sound was frankly immense. i've no idea who nick oliveri is i'm afraid... for the price, i'd say give it a whirl
yeah must say the price did tempt me, can pick up one for 25 quid on the 'bay! Nick oliveri is the former bassist of the Queens of the stone age, he played a p bass through an overdriven ampeg svt. just ragged gritty but not too ott tone. cheers, Nick
 20.
I think a Crowther Hotcake XLF for the Chord stuff and a Catalinbread Hyperpak or Mojohand Mule for the Lead but all 3 will work for all of it. But when you start hunting I've used/owned the following distortion/overdrive and fuzz pedals so if you want any reviews just let me know Crowther Hotcake Bluesberry Crowther Hotcake Bluesberry XLF Tech21 XXL Bass Tech21 Programmable Sansamp MXR M-80 Tone Factor/Mojo Hand Mule Catalinbread Hyperpak Catalinbread V8 Fuzz Barber LTD Dod 250 Custom Guitar Noise Dirtbox Tone Factor/Mojo Hand Huckleberry Prescription Electronics Depth Charge Ibanez PD-7 Boss ODB-3 EHX Big Muff USA EHX Big Muff Russian EHX Double Muff Bixonic Expandora Exp-2000R Zvex Wooly Mammoth Zvex Fuzz Factory Zvex Machine Digitech Bass Overdrive Tone Factor Copperhead Tone Factor Cream Pie Tone Factor Hellbaby Catalinbread Serrano Digitech Bad Monkey Guyatone FZ-2 Guyatone OD-2 Guyatone HD-2 DHA (Can't remember the name of it but it had all 3 modes) Crowther Prunes & Custard Moolon Bass Drive Fulltone Bassdrive Fulltone Fat Boost Zoom Ultra Fuzz Zoom Power Drive Zoom Hyper Lead Line 6 DM4 DOD FX10 Bi Fet Catalinbread Teaser Stallion There is prolly more but if you don't find a pedal you like in there
Hey taste, must say thats quite an impressive list of pedals! could you tell me what the EHX double muff is like? saw one the other day and wandering if it was worth it. kinda going for a nick oliveri slightly overdriven sound. any samples would be greatly appreciated! cheers, Nick
