4. sold my vintage ken smith to grooveit, and he was a pleasure to deal with. the bass was picked up so we had the chance to talk a bit having a "coff of cupee". grooveit is very friendly and easy going. i can highly recommend dealing with him. enjoy your new ken smith ;-)
5. for sale again. don't let the chance pass to get this vintage beauty. you know, these rare vintage instruments are like classic cars: the price will always go up, not down over time ;-)
6. WOW great design, beautiful wood choice. those pickups were used on vigier basses too, right?
7. let me tell you: i was never able to set the string action SO low on any instrument before! the strings are so low, they're virtually under the frets! ;-) sounds amazing for finger funk, and tapping would be so easy (but i can't taphaha). slapping feels great.light strings, low action, massive tone!
8. both read "smith", so i would say both. i seem to be the third owner of this bass. the preowner had it since the early 90s and he said it's all original.
9. thanks, basspro557 i put new strings on the bass today and did a proper setup. sounds amazing. grab it while you can!
