Hi.

Have to sell my Custom Sandberg Ken Taylor.

I talked to Sandberg: this is a custom shop model from 2008. It has a maple body (regular Ken Taylor basses have alder or swamp ash bodies), and features an original Sandberg Preamp. Also, the finish is custom, since there are no regular Ken Taylor basses featuring this color.
It has lots of low-mid growl and is really light weight (just 3.9kg !!!).
The Ken Taylor bass has a lot of amazing tones, since there is a coil tap switch, allowing for single coil / serial mode humbucking.
The bass has seen some playing and has some mojo. There are dings and dongs, the matte finish has polished spots here and there (for example the spot where the fingers dig in when slapping), but everything works just fine. There are no faults whatsoever, just optical stuff.

The tones of this monster are amazing.

- maple neck w/ rosewood fingerboard
- Sandberg MM style pickups (serial / single coil mode)
- Glockenklang 3band EQ (9V)
- Schaller security locks
- weight: only 3.9kg / 8.6lbs
- string spacing @ bridge: 18.5mm which is 0.728 inches
