    You've tuned up to A#?! Lightweight! Yes matey...im getting old, losing the feeling in my fingers, needed to feel some response from the string.

    I tune A# D# G# C# I did use DR DDT's but they had a nasty habit of rapidly wearing out my frets!! I now use D' Addario's nickel plated round wounds. 135, 105, 85, 65. i don't suffer any fret wear with these mofo's! Depending on the severity of your desired tuning, you will more than likely have to adjust your neck and intonation.

I am looking at adding a 500w, 8 ohm 1x15 cab. Can this be done safely without loss of life to amp or cab??? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated and sorry if this dumbass question has been asked a thousand times previous.

    I use a LH500 and the LH1000, both in deeper 4u Gator cases. Both sit happily on my Ashdown 8 x 10, contact area is around 3/4 of the case with 1/4 hanging over the back. Never had one fall off yet!!......(famous last words lol).
