+1 to the above!
avoid the freeport stuff. if you get the 372 system and ew300iem they are only half a unit! -
Chris, do you have links to your listings?
-
we use Li cells in all of our wirelss systems (around 10 -14 at a time!)
never had a problem.
However they are pretty expensive to buy initially though! -
i play Guitar as a secondary instrument - as i teach both as well as being a playing pro, and also regularly attack Banjo, ukelele, as gigs demand!.
I have a reasonable ability with keyboard instruments, cello (to Grade 7- as a child), and i also used to play bagpipes!
I still get the yearning to have a bash at mandolin though! -
that's great mate,
cheers -
congratulations on great buy then!
let us know how it plays etc. when you get it!! -
hi... er
basically what the title says!
i know i'll need 4 jack sockets, and a DPDT switch as well as a box, but that's about it!
Any help much appreciated!!
cheers -
did you have a punt?
i can't believe the end price - obscenely cheap! -

just a quick point - this is for the london guitar festival rather than the London Guitar Show!
I hope theres a chance bass may get at least a mention there! -
Don't forget the bass specific Nady system, retailing at £99!
-
Thanks for that Silent fly, a most informative review!
-
you should be proud of such a braces of riches - I'm sorry to say my only foray into BCR basses- a Warlock with reversed headstock ended in mine being pinched (I wish i could get it back!!!)
Any way congrats, and thanks for sharing! -
welcome back Chris!

i just found this on the ehx site - helps to explain alot!

I'll be there!
its the london guitar show and the british music fair put together.
from what i understand it's not going to be a sales event per se, but more a new product / advertising type thing. -
Looking extremely good mate! All the bases pretty much covered. What bass you playing through it all at the moment? Its good to still see the meat box on there, that pedal was quality.
Cheers Rob.
I'm using a variety of basses sat the moment, although pretty much all passive. (My two Deans - ML and Demonator, USA P, the CH M16 bass (!) and occaisionally the Jap P Lyte) -
Rumour has it that it's based on the Judas Priest situation of the late nineties.
The soundtrack is indeed totally awesome. The Steel Dragon stuff is magical. Look atr the band - Jeff Pilson, Zakk Wylde, Jason Bonham, and an assortment of major league vocalists! -
the distortion 3 is awesome with bass.
no low loss at all and i use it as a mid gain grindy sound - somewhere between the Cream Pie and the HM2 or Blowtorch
It's highly and criminally unerrated! -
absolutely! trouble is i can't take anything off without missing the sound for another song!
I know there is something like 4 OD/Dist/ Fuzzes ( 5 if you count the Hartke!), 2 envelope type things, and two Synthy pedals, but they are all used for different applications.
My pastor saw it in church yesterday and declared: -" His pedalboard runneth over!" -
here's my updated board

Looks like an IGB series.
great basses for their price. IIRc this model would probably have retailed around the £300 ish mark.
It's been a while since i stopped working in music retail, so i may be wrong! -
i reckon it'll look great in church!
but certainly will do!
Suggestions on what to read please

i thought the Guy Pratt book was ok,
i enjoyed the Alex James book,
The Slash onewas a great loo reader!
i also enjoyed Kiss and make up by Gene simmons, Crazy from the heat by diamond dave lee roth, White line fever by Lemmy, How black was our sabbath, and for a great musically based read try either of Seb hunter's books - Hell bent for leather, or Rock me amadeus.
