I've just seen something rather special in the world of basses so, for a short time I'm willing to accept £2200 cash! At this price for a brand new Marleaux you're saving a huge £800 on the retail price. If the bass goes that I'm after then this beauty will go back to its original asking price of £2500.

OK, last up in my Autumn clear-out is my never gigged Hartke LH500. It is in mint condition and was bought as a back-up and never used! It's a shame to see it sitting around neglected and doesn't figure in my attempts to downsize my working rig. I'm looking for including the Warwick Flight-Case. Details: LH500 Bass Amplifier The LH500, like its big brother, has a classic 12AX7 Class-A tube front-end design with a solid-state output. Developed with the HyDrive cabs in mind, the LH500 also has more than enough power and tone control to drive any cabinet on the market. This amp provides you with Treble and Bass Shelving to give its warm tone a little edge. Or use the brite and limiter switches to further sculpt your sound. Its intuitive front panel also makes adjustments on the fly a breeze. The LH500 packs a big punch in a portable, roadworthy package. A two-rackspace metal frame chassis, steel faceplate and handles allow for easy, safe transport from gig to gig. With the needs of modern bass players largely centered around volume and versatility, the LH500 is an ideal solution that gives you plenty of options to create the exact sound you're looking for. Features:

500 watts of power @ 4 ohms
Classic 12AX7 High Voltage Class-A tube preamp circuit
Bass and Treble Shelving, plus mid-peak EQ controls
Selectable brite switch for added high frequency response
Selectable limiter switch with LED indicator
Front panel XLR balanced direct output
Rear panel 1/4-inch effects loop
1/4-inch output connectors
Two-rackspace metal chassis with steel faceplate and handles
http://www.samsontec...plifiers/lh500/ Reviews: http://www.ultimate-...h500/index.html Youtube demo:

I've decided to scale my rig right down as most gigs I do are now fairly small to medium and for larger gigs I DI so, first up is my almost brand new Markbass Anniversary cab. The cab has only done a couple of gigs, it has a brand new padded cover and also has the original box for shipping. There is not a mark on the cab whatsoever, it's pristine and sounds awesome but it isn't going to get used. The Anniversary model has the stainless steel front grill rather than the usual black - looks classy!

I bought this strap recently but, to be honest, I prefer my usual modified straps. This is a fantastic quality strap, made from the finest materials and is very comfortable. Totally adjustable and can be used with or without the second shoulder strap part (as per a normal strap). These straps are on sale at Bass Gear for £149. I'm asking for £95 including postage to mainland UK.
