1. I just want the more punchy active sound, with no losses on the lead.
2. Ah, now it gets complicated. There's the J-Tone and the J-Retro.
3. I already have plenty of active basses and would like to boost my American Standard Jazz, whilst keeping the 3 knob plate and hopefully, not enlarging the cavity.I dont mind stacked controls and pull pots. Does anybody have practical experience with this and did it work?
4. Well I can live without the compound neck and the pickups on my Deluxe are fine, as is the 18 volt pre amp.Think I need more persuading before I shell out twice the price of a mint Deluxe!
5. I have the Fender American Deluxe Precision and want a Jazz as well. Apart from the inflated price, what is different about the Elite?
6. And I am in exactly the opposite position. Do you not fancy another OW5?
7. My first EUB is on its way to me. I have 1X15 cab or combo and a couple of 1X10s that I sometimes use for electric bass at quiet sessions. which set up for the rockabilly band?
8. would you feel confident about packing it to go by courier? they can be a bit rough!

14.
Hi, sorry to hear your news. You might get the same story from most techs, but as an amp tech myself I've made a point of not doing Behringer stuff at all...any of it. As has been said already its not designed to be fixed and even if it could be Behringer do not give out schematics. Alot of their pcb's are suface mount which makes it virtually impossible for the amp tech to do anything with it. I usually get these donated to me and strip them for what spares I can find that are removable. The rest is consigned to the bin. Although I must add that Behringer are not the only company doing this. Good luck in your quest to get it fixed. Cheers Just
I found the schematic now and if anyone can help, am quite capable of removing components and replacing. I just need some helpful advice so that I dont waste time replacing the wrong parts. There isnt an awful lot in there, other than two LM3886 chips. Steve.
15. Yes, it looks like it a bit like that, which is why I wondered about buying a new power module if available.
16. Just got a second hand BX1200. Lovely sound, but died second time out whan switching on. Just a loud hum, then silence. The pre amp is still working, but the power module seems to have died. I'm fine with valve amps, but this is a bit out of my scope. Anyone up North that can fix these things please? Or is it possible to get a complete new module? Steve.
17. I'll have it if I can get it to Cumbria somehow been looking for one of these! Steve,
