Hi All, Up for sale is my Fender Jazz Bass 1964 Closet Classic from the Custom Shop, in Olympic White. Its a stunner with a relic feel to it...some checking to the finish and other cosmetic wear, plus some dings, dongs and scratches from general play....(the bass has the word 'Relic' imprinted in the neck pocket and rear of the neck butt). The neck is dead straight, the truss rod works as it should and the frets have plenty of life left in them...it plays and sounds fantastic. Original case + plenty of case candy included (including the certificate) Looking for £1,500....a bargain for a Custom Shop J Bass. Trade offers also considered, although would far prefer to add cash to something more pricey ! I've also heard a theory that ES stands for Erotic Sunburst....a little known and quickly discarded Fender Custom Colour variant :-)

The bass has the Fender 'ES' stamp (Entered Special) which means it was intended for a dealer show. I couldn't attend as I was watching the World Cup final (well, I was in a cot in the TV room, according to my ol' Dad......)

Hi All, Up for sale is my 1966 Fender Precision Bass with original hard case. Featherweight at 8.5lbs and plays and sounds like only a vintage P can. Great overall condition although with plenty of dings and dongs (especially around body edge) and other cosmetic wear. Case also sturdy but has clearly seen some action in the bar room trenches. Recently taken in a trade with the rather excellent johnbiffa, up for sale is a vintage sunburst USA Gibson Thunderbird IV (serial number 02230558, Yr. 2000) with its original case. It has some signs of light playwear and one or two dings and dongs (the worst being atop the headstock), but overall is in great condition.
