1. I've played this great amp. Clean and mighty!!! 3U high but only half the depth of a regular rackmount amp
 2. Hi Kevin I am selling my Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 head: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/163580-for-saletrade-aguilar-tone-hammer-500-th500/ Not entirely sure I'd replace it for an amp of this weight, but I'd be willing to swap amps for a weekend?
 3.
How about my..... http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry1480011
Thanks for the offer Alan. I don't quite know why, but I've just never taken to TC Electronic's amps in a live setting
 4.
If you want to ship and sell I'd like a price.
Thanks but I really do want to keep it to trade only. I can't be without an amp and don't have spare cash lying around right now to buy another in the event that mine sells
 5.
Little Mark Tube- 500 watt version of any interest? 18 months old, not a mark on it and packaging. Great amp but the orange knobs clash with my boss tweed...
The Orange knobs definitely clash with the black/white GS112 cabs too ;-) I've had a couple of nice Markbass offers, and this is a consideration for sure. I'll get back to you - cheers!
 6.
Hi Lawrie I may have a Genz Streamliner 600 for sale if your interested, but downside is that I wouldn't be after a trade. I bought it to replace my Markbass SA450 but find that, although I love the valveyness (is that a word) of the tone I just couldn't get the sound I hoped from it. I'll probably look at a Momark chassis with valve pre and SA450 tone shaping. Anyway, I'm going to try it again on our hogmany gig but if it's not working then it'll be up for sale. 2 gigs old and unmarked and would be looking around the £500 mark for it. Maybe an option? Stephen
Hi Stephen Let me know about the Streamliner after New Year. Never tried that one but I did watch a good youtube review. Like I said, I don't wish to be without an amp hence why I was after a trade. Have a good one! Lawrie
 7.
For trade, what about for sale??
I don't wish to be left without a gigging amp, hence my preference for trade!
 8. This has hardly been used and it's in new condition. I still have the original packaging, which is an Aguilar-labelled box, polystyrene inserts which cradle the amp and of course the user manual. I look after my gear! For amplification, I've used Aguilar gear, big and small, since 2006, but tonally I want something different for small gigs. I'm spoiled by my DB750, and I think the TH500 represents this tone nicely only without the headroom of the DB750, so I guess I'm expecting too much from it. It's a great little amp that fits in the front pocket of most gig bags. No trades thanks. £475 delivered in the UK. Please PM me for shipping enquiries outside the UK. http://www.aguilaram...fiers_TH500.htm Thanks, Lawrie
 9. Thanks to everyone who has expressed an interest in this bass. I'm withdrawing its availability pending payment
 10. Replied...
Hi Lawrie, Please reply my PM. I am really interested in buying this bass. Thanks!! Regards, Frank
11. Hi thanks for the offer, I'm sure it really is an incredible bass. I will eventually have to replace my bass with another, but that would need to be a 5 string, and since my sale is financially motivated, I think the bass I would accept trades for would have to be priced under £1000. I am considering a Lakland Darryl Jones 5. Lawrie
Hi, not sure whether you would be interested in a trade with adjustment - the Suhr plays and sounds like a top end pre-cbs Jazz but is better built with none of the foibles.... http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry1431466 I tried it alongside a £6.5k pre-cbs in the gallery and this played and sounded way better.... 12. I'm positive it's the same as my maple neck 5, but I'll check for sure on Friday!
Nice... Is this 1 7/8'' or 1 3/4'' at the nut?
13. Hi all This is my main touring bass so although I'm based in Scotland, the bass lives in climate-controlled storage with the rest of our gear in Germany, and is taken to wherever we perform around mainland Europe. I absolutely adore these basses. They're the best all-rounder instruments I've ever owned. I used this bass exclusively on the latest Stiltskin album, recorded earlier this year. I'm in the UK right now so I haven't had a chance to capture some nice close-ups, so for any of you who are interested, please bear with me and tolerate these pictures of me with the bass. I've chosen these photos specifically because I believe the bass is represented well in them. I do plan on taking more detailed photos over the next few weekends leading up to the year's end, and I'd like to make it clear I intend to use this bass until the year's end as there will be no opportunity to bring it home for any reasonable length of time. I have owned this bass from new - 'made-to-order' in 2007, not 'in stock' and arrived January 2008. Specs: Sadowsky NYC 5 string. Vintage-Style J. Parchment (mint white) pickguard. Ice Blue Metallic finish. Matching headstock. Alder body. Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. Sadowsky 2-band preamp with VTC. Sadowsky humcancelling Pickups. Chrome hardware. Hipshot Ultralight Tuners. Hipshot D-Tuner on B string. Removable Pickup cover. 21 Frets. Dunlop Straplocks. Weighs around 8ibs. There are a couple of unconcerning bumps on the body, which I will display asap. Otherwise the bass is in incredible condition for being so well travelled and played. The 4-bolt neck joint is solid and with the help of the spokewheel truss rod adjuster, neck adjustments are quick and effortless. Tonally, this has more natural mids compared to my other 5 string, which has a Swamp Ash Body/Maple neck combination. Unlike the Will Lee model, the standard Sadowsky preamp has no midrange boost/cut, yet panning towards the bridge pickup even slightly is a pretty effective mid boost in my experience. The Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard is stunning. It's much darker than the woods more commonly selected for their fingerboards, and around the upper frets there is a gorgeous streak of red in the grain. The Ice Blue Metallic finish is not a standard option on the current Sadowsky pricelist, and I like that Buying this bass new with its featured specs would cost 4675 USD. I'm looking for 2400 GBP (£). Re - TRADES, I would prefer to close the deal with my asking price, then consider a replacement instrument after, but I would consider a Lãkland Darryl Jones 5 string as a part-exchange with cash difference - preferably in black/maple. Presently, it is transported inside a Ritter gig bag, which is placed inside an SKB Bass Safe. I would provide a Hiscox hardcase in the sale, and also the superb and ultra-comfortable Monostrap - in grey suede. Postage I will discuss with any potential buyers, and would be added to the asking price. This is also featured on my artist page at http://www.sadowsky..../macmillan.html (from when I had long hair..) Here's some live clips of the bass in action. Apologies, I have no home or 'peaceful' footage to hand! 14. Have a bump Gilles I wish I had the money for this right now!!
 15. New condition with the exception of the velcro strips I stuck to the base, and a missing screw (as discovered when I went to take some pictures). It's a much more versatile octaver than my EBS Octabass, but I simply prefer the sound of the EBS. I agree with the common opinion that MXR is closer to the grittier, funkier sound of the original Boss OC2. The position markers are luminous and really are effective during brief and prolonged dark moments on stage. Includes original packaging and instructional booklet, with suggested user settings. Here's a link to the official product description.... MXR 288 Bass Octave Deluxe specs £80 posted (in the UK).
