1. I bought this super-light cab new and have used it exclusively with my TTE500 head. The power capability is impressive. DI'd through the PA on wedding gigs, my amp's onstage volume always had ample headroom coupled with the Traveler 121H. Unlike other 8ohm 1x12s I've used, I never felt tempted to add a second 1x12. I've read people saying this cab has a 'transparent' sound. I'm happy to say I didn't find that in my experience using it. The single speaker shifts the lows of my 5 strings with projection, warmth and clarity, possibly owing a lot to the depth of the cabinet's dimensions, and never showed signs of flap. The mids really cut through the band mix. Very impressive and warm, unlike the brittle mids often associated with small hi-fi bass cabs. The highs or lack of them are controlled by a tweeter dial. To hear a bit of sheen from the strings, I only ever boosted the dial on its first notch. The tweeter can be turned off completely too. No trade offers please. I'll be using the new Markbass New York 804 cab. Although the Traveler 121H is an incredible 1x12, I know it will be sitting in storage waiting to be played, so best moving it on to someone who will use it immediately. It is in near-new condition and includes a fitted padded Roqsolid cover, in black with yellow trim to match the cab! 2. I have bought from, and sold to Gilles. Both transactions and all other communications with him have always been a pleasure. Thank you Gilles :-)
3. Best P-Bass I've ever played. Goo luck with the sale, I'm sure you won't need it!
4. I'm considering putting single coils in my Sadowsky 5 to get away from the slightly scooped-mid sound the hum-cancelling ones give. And I checked that they are also 95mm in length... What do you think Gilles??? PM'd

From end-to-end: 40" (102cm) - 48" (122cm) http://s1342.photobu...s?sort=3&page=1 The longer strap is no longer available. 6. Used on a single gig so in great condition. I believe this is the 'long' version. Measured end-to-end at shortest: 43" (109cm). At longest: 50" (128cm). Please PM me if you're interested as I don't seem to get updates when the thread is replied to! £34 new, so I've priced it at £25 (including UK postage)
7.
Thanks Lawrie - any luck??? ;-)
No Jonny, no!!!!!! I can't stop thinking of this bass too ;-(
8. I love this bass Jonny. If I win the lottery this weekend I'll be right down!
9. Up for sale is my Jazz Bass. This instrument comprises of parts painstakingly chosen by myself to shape an instrument to suit my need for a lightweight, 70s-spec, workhorse Jazz bass . It was then put together by my friend and fellow bass player Gil Allan. The maple neck is an original 1977 with white blocks and binding. It was in new condition when I bought it a few years ago, but I've since had the gloss sanded back to a smooth satin finish. Incredibly slim and fast! The lightweight black body is a 70s reissue with a black scratchplate. Lindy Fralin singlecoil pickups. Incredible dynamic range and tones available, with very low noise. Badass II chrome bridge and Fender tuners and control plate. The hardware and body have been lightly relic'd. No bumps or scrapes, just a little bit of the sheen taken off them for authenticity. I have the chrome pickup cover and ebony thumb rest. Both of which I don't use but will supply them with the bass. Wide black leather Minotaur strap with Q-Parts black pearl/chrome Strap Locks. Ritter brown/black Gig Bag. £1000. Pickup preferred but UK delivery can be arranged at reasonable extra cost. No trades, thank you Here's a Photobucket link to more images: http://s1342.photobu...s?sort=3&page=1
10. I'd like to thank and commend Mick for his kindness, generosity and best interests in our collective bass community! I needed an acoustic bass guitar for a one-off gig in London, and he offered me the use of his lovely blue Crafter after seeing my wanted post. Mick and fellow basschat'r friend Lozz took a day out to meet me at the Gallery Cafe venue in Bethnal Green with enough time spare for coffee and acquaintanceship before the band soundcheck. Both these guys were supportive throughout the gig and stayed til well after the evening performance, which was a pleasure for me thanks to them! Cheers from Scotland!!!
11. Ted bought my pair of Aguilar GS112s and made the deal fast and hassle-free. After discovering quite a severe fault in one of them, we've kept in touch to resolve the issue and I must say I have never communicated with another person who is more patient and understanding. Thank you Ted!
