1. Aw man.....another one bites the dust!!!!!
 2.
Can't say how badly I want this bass! I've been looking at the Squier VM P5 but there's a good chance a little bit of money may be coming my way - just not sure exactly how soon it'll be. If it does, and in the unlikely event that this doesn't get snapped up by someone else before then, I'll be all over this one!
Sorry man, it's sold!
 3. Price drop and photos added on the photobucket link!
 4.
great guy to deal with, indeed!
Thank you Gilles!
 5.
Great player with the best of gear , buy with confidence type bump
Cheers John!!!-
 6.
I have a 5 string American deluxe jazz I'm looking to trade if you are interested. Based in Edinburgh
Thanks, but no :-) I've listed the instruments I'd consider trading for at the bottom of the add. Cheers!
 7. Lovely bass and I can vouch for the Nordstrand pickups being a desirable addition to a bass like this. I have the 5 string version of them in my Sadowsky. Chris McIntyre does great setups too, so now's the time to grab this instrument!
 8. I was indeed given a very generous loan of this bass, and played it direct through the PA at a gig in Bethnal Green. I remember putting a bit of foam under the strings near the bridge and achieved a dubby/double bass sound. Although I'm more accustomed to a longer-scale Washburn acoustic 5 string, it didn't take me long to find some nice sweet spots on the neck. It's not bulky either, so it would make a handy bass to have sitting on a stand for home practice/learning songs etc. Great value for money!
 9. Asking price £900. I bought this from a fellow Basschat'r a couple of years ago, and it's been my regular touring bass since. From memory, I'm sure it's a 2009 build. I'm based in Fife, Scotland and the bass is here for anyone wishing to demo it. Please PM me if you wish to arrange that. Olympic White finish. Tortoiseshell scratchplate (4-ply). Alder Body. Maple neck. Rosewood fingerboard with white dots. Nordstrand NP5F pickups. Since having these fitted, the bass now has a higher output, clearer lows and highs, and a classic P-Bass midrange. Weight: 11lbs (just under 5kg). 34" scale. 20 frets. High-mass bridge - quick release top loading or through body stringing. Dunlop Straplox. Condition is very good for a well-travelled bass. There's a small indentation on the side which I've included in the photobucket link, and some slight marks on the base near the lower strap button, but the back of the bass is virtually free from buckle rash. The bass truly is new in appearance! The B string in the photos looks a bit loose because it's broken! It has since been restrung. Chunky but very comfortable 'C' profile neck. Includes a SKB Fender hardcase. £900 including UK delivery. Payment by Bank transfer. Overseas shipping considered, at extra cost. Photos here on Photobucket: http://s1342.photobu...g?sort=2&page=1 Specs here on the Fender website: http://intl.fender.c...-olympic-white/ There's a pic of me with this bass on the Nordstrand endorsers' page: http://nordstrandpic....com/endorsers/ Here's a live tv clip. Bass was recorded flat to the studio desk via my Avalon U5: https://www.dailymot...2_music?start=1
 10. I had a try of this bass when Johnny first got a hold of it. Effortless to play and sounded so resonant before it was amplified. If I only had the cash!
 11.
Chris is a top man and a very honourable one to boot !
What he said.

 13. Amazing bass and looked after by a trustworthy guy!
