1.
Only once - it's a very recent acquisition. Loved the sound, just what I'm after, a bit more modern than the TH500 which is what I wanted. Now thinking of changing cabs :-(
I urge you to try the 4x8" New York 804!!!!!!
 2.
Just got one of these last week. Great amp, clean but warm and extremely powerful, and surprisingly modern sounding to my old cloth ears :-) GLWTS Lawrie.
Thank you Stewart! :-) Have you played it live yet? Even though I'm selling this one, I still have the TTE 800 amp over in the continent. They sound gorgeous!
 3. I've never opened it to check the brand. It wouldn't surprise me if they were JJs, because they had them in the older Classic 300 heads
 4.
Lovely heads, these. Half tempted to sell my Tonehammer and buy this one!
I'm sure you would have no trouble selling the ToneHammer...if it really came to that!
 5. Asking price now £600. I've owned this since new from the first shipment batch to the UK from the factory in Italy. Condition is as near to new as I can describe. I look after my gear! The DI box that sits atop the amp when I'm gigging has rubber pads which haven't affected the surface or the factory sticker in any way. Included in the sale is the dedicated Markbass TTE holdall (£75), which has a side pocket capable of storing a power cable, speaker cable and a velcro-fixing Markbass 'Bass Keeper' (£20), which I'll also include. It attaches nicely to the right side handle of the amp and secures a bass nicely, as I've shown in one of the photos in the link below. The weight of this amp is LIGHT given it's size and power. 6kg/13lbs. I never ran out of headroom with the amp either, and even with the input in 'passive' mode, my active basses never clipped at gig volumes. Preamp: Tube Tube: 3x ECC83 + 1x ECC81 (compressor) Power Amp: Analog (TTE: “Tube Technology Emulator”) Power Supply:Special Markbass Digital Power Supply Power: 500W @ 4 ohms / 300W @ 8ohms EQ (passive) - BASS - MIDDLE - HIGH Controls: compressor - colour (tube-driven VLE) Outputs: Speakers (2 speakon combo) - Line Out (XLR) Tonally, it's very valve-y (or tube-y, depending on your location!). I feel it leans towards more of an all-valve Ampeg B-15 than say a modern hybrid amp, such as the Aguilar DB750, especially with the Compressor and the Colour (VLE) control in use . However, it can be kept very clean and fast-sounding with minimal adjustment. I've used this with Traveler 1x12 and New York 804 cabs - both with impressive results. There are orange LEDs around the circuitry that give a subtle valve-like glow through the mesh on darkened stages. The new price of these amps range approximately from £700-900 from reputable suppliers in the UK. £615 including TTE amp bag, Bass Keeper and UK delivery. Photobucket link. I've included a stock photo from the official website to show how black the finish is when not under purple/red stage lights which seem to have affected the amp's appearance in the photos I took: http://s1342.photobu...0?sort=3&page=1
 6. Thanks for the offer anyway. I'm just looking to sell this strap, or arrange a trade for 2 x MonoStrap Black Sharkskin (Long).
 7. Mike bought a MonoStrap from me. Payment was almost instant and communicating with him has been a pleasant experience. Many thanks!
 8.
PM sent.
Replied!
 9.
Stand back everyone. I am taking this one. Paypal?
PM'd
 10. Latest model with a shallower lip to allow for right-angle jack connections. Condition practically new with the exception being the removal of the small rubber feet and the addition of velcro on the pedal base. THE heaviest sounding octave pedal I've ever played through Photobucket link: http://s1342.photobu...r?sort=3&page=1 Official site: http://www.aguilaram...s_octamizer.htm

 12. £65 including UK postage. This retails at $99, plus shipping and import duties from the US. Mine hasn't gigged, but has been attached to my Fender Pino bass in my teaching studio since the summer so it's in near-new condition. Here's what Gruv Gear have to say about their strap: "Drawn from the proven comfort, quality and unique construction of the DuoStrap Signature, the SoloStrap was designed for the most discerning guitarists and bassists. Using only the finest of leather hides from Europe, Canada, and South America, the SoloStrap is meticulously hand-crafted to create a blend of form and function that begs to be worn and shown off. The resilient contour padding wrapped with a beautiful garment leather top and an anti-slip suede bottom creates a lasting personal fit, with soft-rolled padded sides where it matters, and topped handsomely with our distinct stamped cover and antique-finished branded metal rivets. Lengths adjustable from 37.5" to 50". Padded area is 3.25" wide for superior comfort without being overly bulky." 13. £25 posted in the UK. Here's what Mono have to say about their fantastic straps: "Like the cases, the GS1 Strap series is designed with indestructible materials, lightweight construction and smart features to provide the ultimate playing experience. A classic, minimalist design sporting hi-tech materials, the GS1 brings the past into the future with a feel that must be worn to be believed. We’ve taken comfort to the next level. The GS1’s wide wale design distributes the weight of heavy instruments. A thin memory-foam core reduces fatigue during long hours of play. A smooth Neoprene underbelly lets the shoulder breathe and slides nicely across your shirt or skin. Forget about the instrument. Concentrate on the music. MONO Straps are built for life on stage. Get creative with the hidden mini pocket, which stashes picks, a slide, or whatever right where you need it for quick access during play. And we got your back with Matte black steel hardware and military-grade webbing for those extreme wear performances."
