2. Bought my Okko compressor recently. The transaction was easy enough from my end Would definitely deal with Bob again!
3. Diago do (or did) an adapter for a 9v supply that would internally double it to 18v. So you could keep the same supply, and only use up one output. Something to think about if you could track one down. Diago don't sell direct anymore, but I rang them up and managed to get hold of one that way anyway as a kind of special order. Don't know if other companies make a similar adapter.
4. Ooooh, was really hoping the Darkglass content was going to be their overdrive pedal. The clips sound awesome on that. Free bump though, some great stuff for sale here!

6. Okko sold! Help me out with the last couple of things! Open to reasonable offers ^_^
7. Dave bought a pedal off me, and the payment was quick and painless
8. The bass behind him looks to have more strings, and unpaired... Idk. His technique is pretty decent, but I'm not a fan of his application of said technique. He does come across as a bit of a tool on talkbass though, I'll agree.
9. Just to add, the depth setting kind of works like a high pass filter. The leftmost setting lets most bass through, and as you turn it clockwise, the cutoff point of the high pass filter is moved higher. So it almost feels like you're turning the knob the wrong way until you're used to it
10.
I just listened to some sound clips and i am kind of set on the M80 now :-/ I just really like the distortion, mainly due to the dry/distorted blend knob. Sorry and good luck with your sale!
Don't worry about it
11.
Yeah, the EBS looks awesome but it's very pricey. Maybe i could use my Boss limiter enhancer just as a volume boost if it's not that loud... but then it would probably just hiss a lot :-/ cheers for the reply
At the risk of being cheeky, I've got one up for sale at the moment in the For Sale section. It'd save you a few bob on the new price if you're interested in actually buying one

I'm not sure I agree with it needing a lot of power. I hardly have to push anything into mine for it to be loud. But yeah, it's heavy for realsies.

I've got one and it's pretty beast. Can't go wrong for the money to be honest. It's a little unwieldy, as it only has two side handles, and no skids or wheels, but you could retrofit those if you wanted.
14. No, I understand the point of reverb and delay etc in the effects loop, but only really if you have a very high gain sound. 99% of bass amps probably aren't dirty enough to justify it.
15. Held a pedal for me for a day, and posted it out really promptly, nothing to complain about in the slightest!
16. I've got an 18 month build so far on one of mine I think. Apparently the neck's been built. Sounds good though! Are you keeping a P headstock?
17. Yeah, I'm pretty much forced to download the latest drivers for it - it doesn't come with vista drivers, so I have to go to the Tascam for the latest ones any time I want to use it on a new machine. Think the Saffire is probably what I'll plump for. Just had a sale fall through that would have paid for it, so I'll have to wait until some dosh comes my way!
18.
A Focusrite Saffire 6 like mine might do the trick!
Also looks like a good shout on paper!
