Total Watts

  1. Hows it compare to the fender? As they're side by side there. Feel, weight, sound etc.
  2. For your Peavey's use BassBros. Going through a retailer, it will be easier and quicker, but you'll take a significant knock on the money you'll get.
  3. SC or split?
  4. Take a look at the Reggae thread.
  5. Looking for a ready made harness, not individual pots.
  6. Looking to replace the electrics on my yamaha rbx360, standard pots aren't long enough to fit through the body and tighten the nut in place. Pot(s) shaft is too short. Anyone know where I can get a harness VVT which'll fit?
  7. I'm not knocking the bass. But if you scratch through the colour it's pale maple underneath, not roasted which would be the same colour throughout. The pickups are another downgrade, from roswell to HBs own generic version.
  8. It's not. It's a rebadged wesley cougar. The brand was associated with antoria in the 70s, went under, then name revived by a budget brand in 90s. Its junk.
  9. The neck isn't roasted, it's just coloured to resemble being roasted.
  10. The original had gotoh tuners, so the current version is a downgrade! Sadly.
  11. Does anyone know if the string tension of Harley benton 40-95 rounds are similar to Thomastik flats 43-100? I currently have HB rounds on my bass, fancy a change from rounds to flats, but don't want to adjust the truss rod if possible, as it's accessed at the heel on my fender, making it a bit of a fuss to mess around with.
  12. Nice, where is the pickguard from?
  13. Incorrect title, but anyone in London may be interested in this Japanese 87 Squier precision... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/396993609106?_skw=squier+bass&itmmeta=01K3JNNWFZ84XY2CN0HWDB6XRP&hash=item5c6ea9bd92%3Ag%3ARicAAeSwY4VorHiu&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA0FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1dOncymAAfEsS9UJdtDtKewo1hj6n42kgZsym8k6CTMLWc%2BD%2BO%2BTHVysVeOVky1I7UzGILTR0WLXwbVWsIGFj3CROU%2BCquLpB%2BcXz2oqIVcDs6pKfF2b0QKi5kXf76qYUJw6x21LRkK5FOClwpzMq2TTl018GPftAfhMUDg7VGDZzoZyRAA5UjvYdLoB7ip7d6LUwHA7uE7k%2FBaoblCLcmIskJnBQFPJO7JlHRHiDXS1%2FwCd9btGaQ4gs%2BpUQ8Ryyk%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR6DI19WcZg&LH_ItemCondition=7000|3000|1500
  14. The best thing to do is replace the bridge saddles with threaded saddles for better string alignment.
