  1. As new. Unplayed Warmoth J Bass replacement body, crafted with premium materials and precision construction—perfect for your next custom bass build. This right-handed body features a chambered roasted swamp ash core for enhanced resonance and reduced weight, topped with a stunning quilt maple laminate for striking visual appeal. It’s routed for standard J Bass neck and bridge pickups (4-string, 3-5/8" neck rout and 3-3/4" bridge rout) and is designed for a Gotoh 201 bridge. The neck pocket is a traditional 4-bolt design, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of J Bass-style necks. The body includes a forearm contour and tummy cut for comfortable playability. There is no jack, bridge, or battery box rout, offering a blank canvas for your own configuration. This body is teared with just a couple of coats of tru oil and can easily be prepped for your custom paint, stain, or natural finish treatment. No binding or edge decoration has been applied, allowing for full creative control over your project. Whether you're upgrading or building from scratch, this Warmoth body offers professional-grade quality and endless customization potential.

  2. So I bought this as a natural and passive. It's now running the brilliant Aguiler OBP-1, and has been refinished in lime white wax and shellac. It's good, not perfect. Humbucker is Cat's Whiskers (UK and handwound). About 8lbs, plays brilliantly. Hipshot Ultralite tuners and La Bella Low Tension strings. Luthier setup. 2 pickguards (holes are filled but easy to adapt back). Can courier. Any questions, just ask.
  3. I have the Cal TT SL, and an Electra VS4. Then added a Lionel and an Electra VM4 (P + MM). The last one has started to really grow on me, mixing growl and thump. The cheaper ones got some enthusiastic upgrades but they were really excellent instruments already. There's not a bad one amongst them, always a joy to play.
  4. Great little amp, home use only.

  5. Great practice lump if you're a 15" fan! Good condition, not perfect but fully functioning. Grill in correct acoustic cloth!
  6. Light domestic use only. Can courier. 8" Speaker Only 5.2 kg Balanced XLR Line Out, Ext Speaker Output Level and VPF Controls The Markbass Micromark 801 is a lightweight, 45W bass combo amp with an 8" speaker. The 801 is the big brother to the original Micromark which had a 6" speaker. The concept of the Micromark remains in the 801, providing a lightweight, user friendly and professional sounding amp. The 8" speaker allows for a more clear bass response which remains tight and punchy in tone and at 5.2 kg, this amp is unrivalled in it's practicality.
  7. Certainly looks it. NW bodies terrify me as you have to drill your own bridge earth to cavity hole!
  8. So, the pocket width at the bottom of the neck is the same. Jazz neck tapers sooner. So a J neck in a P body is a tiny bit gappy (less than 1mm) but spoils the perfection! A P neck in J body us likely to split the paint on the fragile side of the body. That's my experience....
  9. Following intensive research, the MM humbucker likes a preamp. Ft. The SB14 Noe Dart Here...
  10. This one is a bit special. Started as ebony/black special edition. Now has: Aguilar preamp. (vol, blend, stacked B&T) 2 x Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders. Hipshot lollipop tuners. Routed for weight reduction. Now 4.3kg or 9lb 7oz. Anodised pickguard. Fully shielded. Case. All work by actual luthier, not me! Can ship 4 string trades possible, but only posh ones 😂🛳️

  11. Bought new December 2024. Light home practice only. DELANO SBC series bass pickups are dual or quad-coil electric bass humbuckers in the classic bass soapbar shapes, available for four, five, six and seven-string basses. They represent the leading edge in dedicated bass transducer technology. Unbelievably full and open sound throughout the entire spectrum with tight bottom, airy midrange and heavenly harmonics unrivalled by ANY other bass pickup. Finally your bass CAN sound like it should. Available as individual units or in perfectly matched pairs. The DELANO SBC 4 HE/S was developed to overcome many of the obstacles normally associated with most of the proven dual coil bass humbucking designs. We killed the nasal muddiness, broadened the spectrum and enhanced even order harmonics. Finally there is a bass pickup that perfectly blends the full bodied warmth of a humbucker and the airy openness of the best vintage single coils with crystal clear top end definition into pure luxurious bass tone.
  12. Hi, no heavy ones here. 8lb 13.7oz. John East is the ultimate preamp. It's active, or, pull up the 3rd knob and it's passive, with excellent tone range.
  13. Can ship to EU! You'll get duty on it though....
  14. This is a rare punchy beast, I haven't found another like it. Rosewood fretboard with pearly block inlays, and the all important go faster stripes for those trickier licks 😂 30" Short scale, made in Japan in 2014. It's effectively a very high quality, active Mustang variant. The pickups are blades, very responsive and precise. Featuring the John East jazz preamp, so it has full passive control, or epic active. It's had a full luthier set up, action is low and intonation is spot on. In excellent all round condition. Comes with Atelier short gjgbag. Currently wearing La Bella Deep Talkin strings. Can courier at cost. Trade for Sandberg VS4 or Central, maybe!
  15. This is a Mex 2013 Cabronita in superb condition, in all black, with a proper 50s P neck. The bass comes with the original Fender pickup. (TV Jones replacement available) The Cabronita plays like a Tele Bass, but has arm the benefit of arm relief, and feels a bit more compact. The pup thumb rest is removable without a trace Can courier.
  16. 2024 ebony/black special edition bass that I imported from Spain, was a real bargain before I had to pay the duties! I had it reworked by Indra Guitars, a luthier who specialises in ageing, etching, engraving, and generally crafting offbeat wonders. The short scale (30") bass is fairly stock apart from flattened paint, a bit of hidden routing to lose 500g and obviously the lollipop machine heads are irresistible. The MFD pickup is absurdly epic, with the even hotter option on the OMG switch (if you want to blow the bloody door off). The crows are taken from real pictures I took in India. (I'm a photographer). Courier at cost, possible trade
