  1. This is a rare punchy beast. Short scale active made in Japan in 2014.its effectively a very high quality, active Mustang variant. Featuring the John East jazz preamp, so it has full passive control, or epic active. In excellent all round condition. Currently wearing La Bella Deep Talkin strings. Can courier at cost.
  2. Rare bass, natural velvet is a factory satin over swamp ash. The neck is beautifully figured and the bass has just been luthier set up. It's been modded in the early noughties and is done really well. I had it upgraded from SD matched alnico Aguilar MM and supplementary J neck pickup. About as close as you can get to the original Stingray sound. There's an Aguilar preamp, I think it's OBP-2, with cut and boost on bass and treble, 2nd knob is blend. Comes with the Bass Direct mute kit for the thudders. I'm torn selling it but I have a Special, and a mongrel, plus a couple of Sterlings. It's an outstanding bass for the right player. Weight is a fantastic 8lb 7oz! It started out as a 3eq and was modded when I bought it. Plays fantastically and has added versatility. No offers but open to Sandberg trades, esp Lionel.
  3. Picked this up last year, already built. It has hipshot Ultralite tuners, Hipshot bridge, Aguilar AGP 60s pups and a Nordstrand 2 band preamp. It's a solid performer, sounds gigantic! GHS Precision Flats, 38mm nut. Home practice only, Minty!
  4. I'm having the same issue with an elderly Music Man HD500 amp. Tried the jack trick, whatever I do, signal goes through the preamp. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
  5. My tribute, or interpretation. I don't think the Take That tribute bands have Robbie Williams in.
  6. This is a lovely all Japanese P bass with Hosco Jazz neck, (oil and wax finish). The body is genuine Fender, 80s Japan, with bona fide road wear. Set up beautifully. Luthier built. Sporting TI jazz flats and Aguilar Hot pups, CTS pots and 0.1 Fender PV tone cap. Courier is 30 English pounds.
  7. Trades always interesting! Especially 54 P, or anything classic with a twist!
  8. Weight is..... (drum roll) 8lb 5. 6oz
  9. Lovely 2017 natural flamed finish Elwood, handmade in Poland. Tone chambered figured ash body, maple neck, alnico pups. Really slick player like a Sandberg. Unmarked condition with gigbag.
  10. Lovely 2018 natural flamed finish Elwood, handmade in Poland. Chambered body, alnico pups. Really slick player like a Sandberg. Unmarked condition with gigbag. UK shipping at £30

  12. My 32 Fender Urge has 24 frets and 19mm spacing. It's on ebay and on here for sale! Smaller body than all short scales and super light, active with kubicki preamp.
  13. It's glued in
  14. Yes, that's kinda the point... to attract attention 😂

  16. Here's a nice tale... Bought a really filthy P Bass with Aerodyne neck stupid cheap on eBay, and made 2 good basses with swapping around the bits. P body looks to be from the year 2000, thought someone might recognise the markings.
  17. I'm a novice player, need the thumb rest!
  18. Picked this up 62 reissue, made in the 80s, and it was wearing a Mexican jazz neck. So I got the luthier to put a Japanese rosewood fretboard Hosco on and do a full setup. Now it looks and feels like a vintage P. Body, pots, neck plate and bridge are all original. Neck is recent with satin lacquer back, tuners are Hipshot lollipops. Pickups are SD Hot, strings are TI jazz flats.
  19. This one has hand wound split coil jazz pickups!
  20. USA had the P in the middle. Mexican more restrained.
  21. Fenders answer to the Stingray. Excellent condition. All original. Fat sound active bass. Lovely neck! £795
  22. Lovely Mexican 32" active bass with Kubicki preamp. Tiny body, and very slim neck. Cat's Whiskers alnico pups, made to measure. It spent the last 30 years in its original Fender case, in an attic, so very light use and has had a pro setup.
  23. Let's see if I can part with it!
