1. I think the £100 offer was because I wanted quick cash at the time, call it £150 or best offer. It is 72.2lb or 32.5kg, dimensions are 63x53x35cm.
2. Extremely reluctant sale as I only just got this but I need the money. [sob story]My girlfriend and I are buggering off to separate universities in September so I had hoped to make this a good summer bu, lo and behold, I ran out of cash. [/sob story]. Original thread: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...der+deluxe+jazz Same bass, same case, new strap, new strings and new batteries too! Good condition apart from some light scratching and two small dings by the jack. Original Fender case has some scuffage. In my opinion, the best production model bass money can buy. Noiseless pickups, three-band preamp, Hipshot tuners, straplocks; an incredibly light body which, especially coupled with the wide strap, feels almost weightless; and an American Vintage bridge. Strung with Stadium Elite Light Gauge strings. Weights 7.8lb excluding the strap and straplocks. £600 please the same as I paid. Delivery will cost extra. Payment by cash, bank deposit or bank transfer only please! Pictures! Ecuse my crummy photography (goddamn touch screen phones) and thanks for reading. Jon
3. Fancy £50 off my Skylark?
4. Heavier than I would like but not to heavy to play.
5.
Ha! That's so cool. And sounds awesome, which I didn't expect. I don't think my back would like it though...
Well for an extra £15 I can include a cushy 4" strap that makes any bass feel weightless.
6. Grab a serious bargain. Nearly 2/3 off the new price.
7. Well then the neck, pickups and bridge are worth the selling price on their own. I'm in the market for a J bass, ideally I want a maple fingerboard but I'm putting this on my maybe pile for the time being.
8. Is that a Badass Bridge? What's the body made of?
9. I read the first post and got my hopes up. Adam, you are a bad man.
10. I need that bridge pickup HONK. Up and up, adding a list of trades.
11. Ebay? Oh noes. Would you take an upgraded 51 Precision RI + £250?
12. Tada! A lovely example of a Japanese Fender and why Fender should stop discontinuing their best models! Upgraded with a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder, an arm contour (which is a god send if you've ever played a slab body, an American Vintage Fender bridge (the kind they put on MIA Fenders) and a set of loverly Thomastik Infeld flats. Also extra gubbins, a pickup cover, a foam mute, a lovely vintagey Fender strap and the original pickup. More pictures and details? Don't hesitate to ask! Reason for selling? After 5 years of playing and constantly buying and selling, buying and selling, etc, I have come to the conclusion that Jazz Bass are for me. Things I am after: Swap for a Road Worn Jazz, 90s MIA Jazz, Reggie Hamilton Jazz, CIJ Jazzes, non-export Aerodyne Jazz, Fender Jaguar bass. P/X (cash from me) newer MIA Jazz, Marcus Miller Jazz, maybe a Sandberg Jazz? (Not sure how much they're worth.) P/X (cash TO me) 60s Jazz RI, Highway 1 Jazz, Squier VMJ (only the sunburst/maple one). I WILL CONSIDER ANY OFFER YOU GIVE ME> These are just guidelines of the kind of thing I'd like. The worst I can do is say no! 4 or 5 strings, either is good for me. I prefer maple necks but rosewood isn't a deal breaker (unless the body is black, call me shallow). I'm fine with a bit of mojo. Ta for reading. Jon
13. ^ They're fantastic basses but sadly not my thing, thanks anyway.
14. Bump. Up for trade now, my 51RI Precision doesnt seem to cut it in a metal band.
