2. First time I've seen or heard Doug Johns......thanks for sharing. What a player!!
3. Guitar Village? Lovely bass.
4. Cheers Luke but I've just ordered an EBS Classic Drome from Bass Direct. It seems to have the spec that suits my needs at the moment. Thanks for the other comments Chris and Flychris, the sort of sounds I like are typicall EBS'ish. Bit of Tal and Marcus, so the Drome should fit the bill. Might do a little review once I've had a play.
5. Nice one matejj53, very Matt Garrison
6. Outstanding craftsmanship.....and a very tidy workshop. Respect!
7. Reminds me of a Celinder (in looks), and that bridge........that's engineering!
8. You could try D'Addario half rounds, basically a round wound with the tops ground flat. Slinky and quiet under the fingers but plenty there if you occasionally pop and/or slap.
9. Always loved Pino's playing. Tasteful and effortless.
10.
No doubt it's a fantastic instrument. I know a Sadowsky player who is very happy using Markbass, but if I was buying a new rig to match the quality of this bass I'd be looking at Bergantino, Aguilar and Barefaced.
GULP........I was thinking EBS combo if I can find a used one. I think I've spent my Christmas good will.
11.
you know the drill. no pics, no bass. ??
Thought you guys might be a bit sick of pics of this Bass....... Thanks Geoff. As requested.. 12. Cheers Luke.......I am.
13. I've just got home after buying the rather loverly Candy Apple Red Valenti Jazz from Richardd. I can only confirm some of the other comments from fellow forumites that have played this bass. Easy to play, great neck, sounds fantastic passive or active etc etc. I'm quite pleased with myself Now to find a suitable amp to level the walls with.....
14. More positive feedback for Rich. Really nice Guy to deal with, smooth transaction.......but if you could sort out the monumental congestion in Grantham that would be good Thanks for the tea as well.......
15. I'm thinking about having this possibly this weekend, just have complete a sale tomorrow afternoon
16. Tried to change the price in the 'Price or trade value' bit and its not having any. Price reduced to £140 collected

18. I'm selling my (hardly used) Fender B-Dec as I'm going over to using a BR800 to record backing tracks and loops. Bought this brand new. I have the original box and manual, the plastic on the badges is still there. This is a great practice tool as well as for rehearsals or lower volume small gigs. Same sort of thing as a G-Dec but for Bass. Here's a quick demo.... I'll post a couple of pics in a day or so. Really need to shift this so....£140 collected, shipping anywhere in the UK (mainland) for £10.
19. Thanks for the replies Guys.
20. Just been checking out a few Neo speaker prices and......Ouch!! Has the price just shot up? I don't remember them being this expensive, though I have looked at the cost for a couple of years.
