    I now only buy from: 1) Private sales 2) The Bass Gallery (hi Alex!) 3) Jam Guitars of Bristol (hi Nick!) 4) Soundslive Newcastle (hi Mark!) 5) Bass direct (Hi Mark!!) I know and trust each of these four companies, and between them they can usually be competative on price [i]and[/i] between them they can get me anything that I want to buy new. I get anything I want to buy used from forums like this.

    They site lack if demand, which is clever code for "they're not making enough profit". They're also very complicated inside - so mfring cost must have been high.

    The real deal - Incase Slim bag. In good nick, missing yellow rain cover, but comes with hanger. One of the external pockets has a tempramental zip. I'd really like to trade this for an Overwater Leather Bag, BUT: Incase are currently charging $199 + $150 shipping + UK Duty at approx 22% for a new Slim Bag = $425 / £217.     I'm afraid I had a bit too much of a party last night and today I have lacked the inclination and this fine motor skills to etch the PCBs. Looks like my project's going back another week!

    This is very, very simple. No scaremongering, no customs and excise discerning market value from ebay. You just need the bass to be shipped with a recipt in the package, and also have the seller send you a recpit by seperate cover.
