Just thought I'd resurrect this. Anyone seen or heard this bass?

Could this handle one bass with a straight headstock and t'other with an angled one?

I'd love this.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I've now come to my senses and will simply replace my Gator ABS case with a new one.

Not new but in great condition. Soft black cordura, padded and lined with red velvet finish material. Long side pocket as well. Designed for Boss GT effects units.

Amazing hand-made unit that was never available as a retail item. SWR made these units during the "black and green face" golden age, long before Fender took over, for their endorsees.

This is the actual unit.


It's an amazing piece of kit - can go from subtle eq to really full on changes - but as I'm going to move away from rack setups I don't need it any more.

Fantastic condition with very litte rack rash. Also has a UK plug fitted and will ship in original box.

I like the Alien but can't stand the Hellborg bass; apart from his Wals and original Status bass I think Jonas has pretty odd taste in how his basses look!

One thing to note is that the Alien is Korean made and the woods used are laminates as opposed to solid pieces, so compared to some acoustic basses it could be argued that it's overpriced. A Tacoma Thunderchief 5 string gives you solid woods (and an extra string) for about the same money.



I must say I'm loving my new Brook acoustic bass. I used it for the first time at a gig on Saturday and the sound was huge; beautiful big phat bass. After we'd finished our set we retreated to the green room and sat there playing our acoustics and singing 'til 2am. Great fun having an acoustic bass in the arsenal...
